West Palm Beach Golf Course

Course is in good condition, greens well kept and the sand traps well manicured. I prefer to play early in the morning beating the heat.

Great course for the money, very good condition, excellent greens. Play was extremely slow, cart ran out of juice on #16.

Not a difficult course. No water and wide fairways.

4h45min for 18 holes was not acceptable though.

A lot of sand along the edges of the fairways. Wide fairways, but many bunkers. Overall a great time!

Older or less skilled players need to play from gold tees to enjoy their round and pace of play will greatly improve. Too many play from white and blue tees when clearly they don't belong there.

Course took almost 5 hours to play. The starter was twenty minutes behind. As for the course, it was pretty good shape for winter. I saw the grounds crew out spraying for weeds. I would come back because the course is long and challenging. I just will wait till the off season, because I cant wait 15 minutes before each shot. Cheers!

Nice layout. No water and very little shade but a good value and good greens. I'd play here again.

Having played this course a lot over the past decade or so I've seen a few changes in the course and amenities. While I like the ice and water at the starter the lack of cups leaves a lot to be desired. The greens were and usually are fast and soft while the fairways are, well they just are fair. I still miss the tree lined fairways but, now l like the constantly changing wind and it's challenge to this course. I patiently wait for the clubhouse and a place to enjoy a drink following a round to be built. Overall all I enjoy playing here every so often and will again.

This is obviously a very well designed course. The greens are still in good condition, but the fairways have gone to seed. I'm afraid there is a "municipal" mentality, that doesn't aspire to great customer service of great maintenance of this gem of a course. For example, the course provides ice and water at the first tee for water, but no containers for it.

Last year they tore down the magnificent old clubhouse rather than renovate it and use it for functions. The pro shop operates out of a trailer and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

God save us from bureaucrats!

Historic course in West Palm that sees a lot of play and shows the wear but a reasonable value for the money. Getting off is the longest wait you will face but around the 4th hole it should open up. Wide fairways bounded by long wast bunkers makes the course challenging for most golfers. Always breezy which adds more challenge but keeps you comfortably cool on most days. For a public course, it has a lot to recommend it.

Lot of players and round took 4.45 ,absolutely too much. Fairways in wintercondition ,greens sufficient. Price/quality of course sufficient.

Bad idea to play on Holiday Monday...
After 5 hours packed it in on hole 15!

Other than Lake Worth Municipal this course was in the worst condition in Palm Beach County. The fairways are a mess and the rough is not maintained. There are ant hills everywhere so watch out for the red ants. In fairness the greens were pretty decent and the layout of the course is nice but I would not go back unless I heard from others that the conditions have improved.

This is a classic golf course. From the back tees it's plenty long enough. The greens are in great shape but a bit slow. Tee to green needs some help but play it up and you'll have a great day. No pretenses here. Just golf . I will be back.

Wait time on first par 3 was over 25 minutes. That jammed us up for the rest of the day. Staff are very friendly.

Sure the fairways were a bit rough in spots, the rough is actually sand, ( hey don't hit there !) Greens rolled pretty true. Pace of play a bit slow, 4 hr 20 min, but for the value it is nice course for average and worse golfer. We will play again for $35 bucks.

A lot of sand but a lot of fun if you find your ball in the fairway bunkers. I will go back

Very happy to play here, in great shape for a public course, good layout and had no problem with pace of play. Will be back to play when I come back to visit my dad in the spring. Staff was very helpful on getting me in on a busy morning and was paired up with other single players quickly. Also the price was good for 18 holes with cart.
