Windermere Country Club

Played 3 courses while in Florida recently. Windermere was by far the best for the money/ Played another course which was perhaps a little more pristine but lots more money. Windermere will be at the top of the list of courses to play when we return next year.

We really loved the course... great staff, great conditions, except the early morning fog, that made for a bit of a challenge for 3 or more holes....we golf fast, it may have burned of in two or so holes for some groups..

Course was is good shape. The staff was friendly and pace of play was average.

The course is tucked away, but easy to find in a very nice location. The staff is friendly and helpful. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. Only one issue. The bunkers were not raked after sprinklers were active. But they were in good shape and easy to play.
Can't wait to return.

A well maintained course. Holes 15 -18 are very challenging and can ruin an otherwise good round. I've played a number of Orlando area courses and Windemere is in the top 5 of those courses.

A gem among the lakes of Windermere. The course was in good condition and a joy to play.

Diverse holes with imaginative challanges in the placement of trees, sand and water hazards.......scenic views and attractive facilities......qualitiy putting surfaces in excellent condition

Played this course while in Orlando for the PGA Show. Course in very good condition. Greens held fine and putted great. Fairways in great condition with plenty of green grass. Will play again. Only complaint is that it was a busy day, and tee time was around noon. This created a shortage of carts so had to walk back and forth to the driving range, leaving the clubs back outside the pro shop. I usually balk at leaving clubs unattended as too many things can happen, but had no choice. This club needs to lease more carts if this happens often.

Best deal in Orlando for the price. Conditions were excellant. Great greens and fairways. A must play course

Fairways were in excellent shape along with greens. Would play this course everyday if I lived here.

Booked hot deal - very pleased with price, condition and challenge of course. Great deal and course was not crowded.

Not too busy when I played and went around in 3 hours. The course was in pristine condition and very playable although 15 and 16 got me in trouble. 18 is a good finishing hole. The staff were very friendly and helpful. a good value thru golfnow.com. Will play again when i come back to orlando.

Maybe the best greens I have ever played on. I like them fast and smooth and they were. The fairways are inviting and fair. The challenge is with the many large traps in the fairways and that front the greens. Also, the water is well placed to catch wayward drives. On the other hand, the bunkers were all in excellent condition and not difficult to get out of it you have the basic sand shot skills; the emerald green fairways are generous enough to avoid a lot of trouble with the driver; the tree lines are not thick and so a drive right or left will not doom your round.. The only negative is that the course is very popular given its many pluses and can be slow if you are not in a foursome.

First time to visit and was very impressed. Great staff and very welcoming. I've been in Orlando for 22 years and kick myself for not trying this course sooner.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Course is in great condition and fairly straight forward for a first timer to figure out. Some local knowledge would be helpful to know where to hit your tee shots on 15 and 16 (I guessed wrong). Would love to play it again.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COURSE WAS GREAT. IT IS WELL LOOKED AFTER FROM TEE TO GREEN. WE PLAYED A LITTLE LATER IN THE DAY AND A FEW 2 SOMES WE LET PLAY THRU. THE ONLY THING I WOULD RECOMMEND IS LOOK AT THE SCORECARD FOR SLIGHTLY HIDDEN WATER HAZARDS. THERE ARE NO HOLE DESIGNS ON THE TEEOFFS SO THIS WOULD HELP YOUR GAME..THE COURSE IS NICE AND WIDE OPEN BUT IF YOU DON'T PLAY IT DOWN THE MIDDLE TROUBLE COMES UP.

Been here 8 times in the last 3 years. Have never been disappointed. Great price for a quality golf course.

Had a great afternoon playing golf at WCC. This is now my favorite neighborhood golf course in the Orlando area.
