"Beautiful, uncrowded course, friendly staff, great day."
This was a great afternoon of Florida golf. Pristine, upscale community and course with beautiful scenery and wide landing areas. The staff was professional, courteous and very friendly. We joined up after nine with another twosome who included the starter we met earlier. He and his friend filled us in on the course, local restaurants, jokes, etc. What a pleasant day.
excellent course in excellent condition
the last course we played in Orlando over a 4 day period. Windermere was every bit as good as any course we played that was twice the price. The course was in great shape. Starter was a great guy.
Very nice course and worth playing.
The greens are outstanding for Bermuda grass. The holes are different enough to make shot selections unique. I'd play the course any time I can.
The course has many good features especially the 9th and 18th .
Played for the 2nd time in mid February 2013. Don't think the fairways were as good as last year. The greens are quite difficult and if you are not in the correct position to putt - 3 putts are in order. I especially liked the 18th hole.
Nice Course
Course was in good condition except for leafs on greens. Greens were in good condition and Bunkers were in good condition. Course is not long but has some challenges. Good value for this time of year in Orlando area.
Perfect Course in great condition
This course has the best greens we played over all 9 that we managed during our vacation. The pace was great and an early start helped and also gave the best view of the rolling terrain in the early sun. The water makes it a good test and the length of the holes adds to the challenge, all in all one of our favourites.
Quality greens
This was a very well maintained course, esp. for the money. Good variety of holes and the range, putting green and overall course exceeded my expections.
nice cousre layout
great course, in very good condition, excellent value for the cost. We come back here on a regular basis every winter on our 2 to 3 golf vacations.
Greens were fast and tricky
This is a nice course. Its deceivingly challenging. Lots of sand. Greens are very fast and have challenging layouts (undulating). The course was in great shape
beautiful setting
Beautiful course for those who enjoy the scenery as well as a fine track. Nice greens. Will be coming back.
This course was in great shape and the greens were immaculate.
This course was in great shape and the greens were immaculate. It was a pleasent surprise. A more traditional type of course, well maintained and great pace of play. Large fast greens and breaking putts!
Beautiful and affordable
Beautiful course challenging but fair. Large beautiful greens with decent speed. Nice views all over the course. Overall great experience
Great Course for the money
Great course for the money. Well designed with a some challenges but also forgiving when you miss your shots. Better course than some of the more expensive courses (Dysney, Mystique, Champions Gate). Staff is very friendly. the right course if you are a true golfer and do not need the gimmicks around you. Just do not use GoogleMaps on your iphone to find the course. It will get you to a lake not to the course.
It is now my go to course for my trips to Orlando.
Great Greens
Best greens we played in the area this year. Course plays longer than the score card indicates.
GOOD CHALLENGE
Long round but course was in great shape and is a good challenge. Greens were super fast and very undulated. Stay below the hole. We'll surely try and get out there again.
Excellent, challenging course. Best value we have experienced.
Thus is a very challenging course that will test all skill levels. The greens are huge, fast and with pin placements that were set for a PGA tour event. The course was in excellent condition to include the tee boxes and sand traps. The high handicap player will need an extra sleeve of golf balls. The staff was very very courteous as well.
Would definitely play there again.
The course was in excellent condition and hope to play there in 2014.
Good course-fast and tricky greens.
Paired up with a pleasant Texan couple at noon,we had to play at a faster pace than normal for us as vacationers in Fla. due to an inter-club match immediately behind, so little time to savour the pleasures of Windermere.Enjoyed the course, will recommend to my Guys 4-ball when we return in April- best feature was the mainly large, undulating putting surfaces, often leaving a challenge from any direction,s well as being faster than I am used to in Scotland.
Very much worth the extra distance - still close to everything
The first fourteen holes are really meant to get you ready for the last four holes... If a good drive will turn a par-5 into an easy birdie hole on 14th, the prevailing wind on 18th makes it a very challenging par-4 to finish. The 17th hole is another hole that requires a very good tee shot again due to the wind... Nevertheless - all in all it makes for an interesting round.
