About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

really good value course
Overall fairways in nice conditions, a couple greens in rough shape but for most part were decent. good value here. my one complaint is hole 1 and 10 have range balls sailing into fairways-its dangerous and makes it hard to find ball, no idea from a liability standpouunt why they wouldnt have netting protecting players on these holes

Winter pines
We showed up early to play, tee off was prompt but extremely slow players i front of us but wouldn’t let us play through. Maybe i went at the wrong time.
We apologize for the delay of play during your round. We work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and to best control pace allowing everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. Unfriendly Staff
Staff at 1st tee was confused. Was an older gentleman who clearly was having a difficult time understanding which group of golfers were up for which tee times. He couldn't understand I was a group of 2, and the group in front was a group of 3. Came to a head when he was so confused and frustrated, he started telling people he would kick them off the course. Would not recommend due to crazy staff and poor course conditions.

Great price - Staff needs attitude check
I golf here a lot because it is kept up with and the price is perfect. However, every time I go there the staff as some sort of attitude. Never friendly. And the ranger (on the 17th hole) came up to us and told us to speed up our pace. But the people behind us we’re teeing off the hole previous to ours. In addition to that, the course has 3 long par 3’s in a row. So of course there will be some back up We finished the round, just under 4 hours. I was shocked when he came up to us to say that.

Like this course
Liked the course didn't appreciate the group behind us that kept hitting into us. There wasn't any need to do that we were keeping pace with the group in front of us.

overall had a great time
First time playing golf in Florida, from San Diego so I was excited, I would say over my life time I average about 10 over a round. This course was fairly cheap priced but not dirt cheap. The check in manager behind the counter was nice but he told he would call my name to tee off and never did. Come to find out my group was late so as a single I had to go figure out what was going on. The starter was kind of rude, old frumpy guy with his mask barely on. I had to speak up and assert myself to the tee box or they were planning on sticking me behind 3 more groups! Eventually bc of my push I was able to tee off with 3 really great people. We had a great time playing and the pace of play was really great considering all of the 4 somes that day. The course overall had a fun layout but was pretty dry, the greens were sanding and kind of punched but still played pretty fast for their condition. Overall I enjoyed the course and would play again if I saw a good deal. Dont expect some beautiful course, its not that amazing but did have some really fun holes. 3 1/2 stars. They have 15 balls you can buy to hit off the range for just 2-3 dollars so that was nice. Had a good time , peace!

It was a beautiful day. Played with three other gentlemen. One was older and he chose to walk while myself and the other two were in carts. Definitely slowed play because he was the shorter hitter. Course was very dry. It did allow a lot of extra roll which helped at times. Nice layout to the course. I'll play it again.

Leave your kids at home
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to play this course. Arrived for tee time with my son after prepaying and they wouldn’t give me a cart as kids under 6 aren’t allowed in the carts.
Staff was polite, but wouldn’t budge. I thought it an odd policy, as my son and I have played 10+ rounds across Orlando and this is the first time encountering this issue. He’s 5 and loves to tee off and putt.
From what I could see, course looks well maintained, with a decent driving range and practice greens.
