About
Winter Park Pines Golf Club has offered one of the most affordable rounds in the greater Orlando area since first opening in 1968. The course has a traditional design that is ideal for beginners though it's also great if you're looking for a quick, casual round. The par-70 golf course may seem odd with a par-34 front nine and a par-36 back nine, but the layout manages to blend together seamlessly. The golf course has short par 4s and par 3s of varying lengths. There is one par 5 that measures 462 yards. The first half of the course is especially scenic with mature trees framing most of the holes. In addition to the golf course, Winter Park Pines also has a practice facility available. It features a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens with a bunker.

This course is pretty good. Priced fairly and amenities are great. Highly recommended.
Worth playing again...
A quirky course...with a par 5 that's under 400 yards...a couple of par 4s barely over 200 yards, and a couple of par 3s that are around 190. Tight off of some tees (especially if you fade the ball). All water is lateral so no forced carries. A lot of fun!
Hidden gen
The course winds through a relatively urban neighborhood which means some of the layout is constrained. Nevertheless, the course is fun and the pace of play was excellent. The staff define friendliness. The course was a bit wet from recent rains and there was standing water in a few holes. The sand traps were being refurbished so some were free lift areas. The greens speeds are a bit inconsistent and the condition of some was a bit ragged. Even so, the course offered a nice challenge and I so enjoyed it I am going back in a couple days for another rounds.
Greens are a mess
I love this local course. Play it all the time. The greens have been destroyed by something (fungas, animals). Too bad, great place with a great staff!
Great changes
Been a while since I played the course so far was pleasantly surprised at the changes. Conditions were very good.
Course in Shambles
Grounds Crew needs to be fired. City Workers I’m told so figures why the course is falling a part. Half dozen times the crew was dragging sand or playing with irrigation, or even removing the flag interrupting our round at noon in the day. Any other course they do this work at dawn or at times the course is not being used. Won’t be playing WP for a very long time.. last resort..
Course changes are an improvement.
Played WP18 yesterday. The greens are coming back but need some help and time. The course recently flipped the front and back nines. Also lengthened a few par threes. Par is now 70. The changes make the course notably improved. We were a little surprised that several singles were let out and were pushing play.
Golf Now Hot Deal
Course is in great condition grass in fairways greens are good with a few exceptions but staff was out working on them
Winter Garden
Course was in good shape but the greens were a little slow. Staff was very friendly. Carts wee a little old and had to change cart in middle of round. All in all a very pleasant experience.
Enjoyable Golf
Course was in really good shape. The exception was 2 greens were pretty bad. We had a couple of You Tube movie makers holding us up starting on the 1st hole. Called the pro shop but that didn't do any good. They left after 9 and our 4some enjoyed the back 9.
