The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Improving!?!
This course was in our rotation but fell into a poor state last year. It was just about unplayable (especially the greens). This was my first time playing here in 18 months and it has come a long way. I hope they keep up the improvements. They were really busy but the starter did a good job pairing us up with another two-some.
Good value
Golf course overall was not bad, some fairways were wet, greens are better than last year, although it could still use some TLC.

2nd time there is less than 2 weeks. Great condition…Pace of play was great and had a bite to eat afterwards and food was good and counter attendant/waitress was fantastic….
just ok
played with someone who as played course many time and he said course was in the worst shape. it was ok. fairways were beat up, forget what you call rough and greens were a little on the slow side. play was very slow. would try again in late march hoping course would be in better shape.

I hadn’t played here in over a year. Nice course, staff was very friendly.
Poor Condition
I played this course a couple of times last year and thought I would give it a try again. Unfortunately I must give this a poor review.. The layout is good but the greens need a lot of work. One example is one of the greens has a high spot and you can see that the greens need to be filled in .OUt of the 18 geeens two or three were in okay condition
The fairways are a combination of a bit of grass on dirt. We paid $30 but truthfully its just n ot worth that price. I would not recommend this course
It's OK
The Links is an average golf course. for the money it is a great value - but you have to understand it is not Augusta National. Tee Boxes and Greens are spotty - but playable...you may have to move your ball on the green away from the distressed areas. Fairways have a lot of worn spots but again playable. all in all - an ok open to the public golf course.
Nice layout
First visit and some reviews made me wonder but it was fine. Greens quite slow and some tough par 3's. Pace of play was poor to start but did improve. Some inetresting holes, plenty of water and wildlife. Need to be fairly straight off the tee or trouble awaits
