The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Fair
Courses in rough shape although I did play it in January. I don’t really know how pace of play is normally but I got there right before a league went off and it was really really slow.
Improving
This is the first I played this course in almost 2 years. At that time it was going down hill fast. This time the conditions were vastly improved. The course still needs a lot of work but you can see that there is a great effort to do so. Our group would play this course again.
Great course
I recommend this course, fairways and greens in great shape
Very Pleased
I have played this course several times and I have to say this is the best I have seen the course. The greens are in excellent shape and completely free of weeds and rolling very good. Fairways are nice and tees are in decent condition. Will be playing this course often!
Not Yet !
We gave the new ownership 9 months to get it together & address the MANY issues here. I have to say the greens are better. very slow, but better. All the other old issues are still there.
The clubhouse remodel looks good. The bar / food counter however is a dud! Stood at the counter to buy a beer after a few minutes I simply walked out. Turns out the lady working the counter was outside smoking.
We will check back in 6 or 8 months to see where they are, till then avoid this mess.
A hidden gem
Course was perfect for what we were looking for. Not a lot of water (played front only). Not a tricked up course. Already booked for next weekend.
Staff made us feel very welcome.

Add all those up & its a great combination.
Very wet course
I decided to take my chances and play this course despite the negative reviews that I read about it. I would have to go along with those negative reviews. The course is very wet and the drainage is terrible.
