The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Impressed
Haven’t played this course in a year. We were hesitant to play this course because of the mixed reviews. Yes there was some tee boxes that were sandy. I remember three, maybe four. And I only remember one fairway (#16) that was rough. The greens I thought were in good condition, not great but good. The only complaint about the greens is they are slow. Very slow. The biggest complaint is the cart paths were really bad. Overall for the money it’s not a bad deal on TeeOff. We like the layout of the course and the back nine seems easier than the front nine in my opinion. We will be back.
Great value
While other courses are charging upwards of $75 this one only charged $35. Great value for the price. Greens and fair ways are in decent shape.
Just my opinion
Great design that needs a lot of work. The patch jobs on some of the greens just isn’t right. Speed of greens to slow. A good value for the thrifty golfer out there. Staff was great and the amenities are adequate. Place has a ton of potential and I wish the new owners success.
Still needs work.
Last time we played here we said we were never coming back. Saw the recent comments so decided to give it another shot. There’s some improvement but the course still needs a lot of work. The tees were in bad shape. Some playable, others were just sand. Cart paths had some improvement but still many areas need work. Renovations to the clubhouse are nice. The staff had no idea of any improvements in the future. May try again after a few months.
A little slow due to the time of year
Overall. A great value. Greens were good. Open course layout.

Great course for the money.
Hard to beat for the price. Challenging but not stupid right. Some greens were a little patchy but fine for a bogey golfer. I will be going back.
Improved!
Played here in august/September 22 and swore I would not come back. Came today with a friend and wow is far better than it was. Greens were great, fairways had grass in them, sand traps sandy. For the money it is a great value. This place needs a beverage cart though! We teed off at 750ish and we’re done by 12, so pace of play was great especially for this time of year.
Fair
Courses in rough shape although I did play it in January. I don’t really know how pace of play is normally but I got there right before a league went off and it was really really slow.
