The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Good layout.
Course conditions have dropped since I played last year. Hoping they improve the conditions
Good course for the price.
The course is is good overall conditions and they are working to improve it.
The round is fairly priced for what you get.
The staff is Super amicable and the food is good.
Play wasily 9 or 18, walking or with a cart, depending on your schedule.
The pace of play was reasonable, and the wildlife visits while playing is a plus!
Q on Golf
Links of Bern is a nice course with great features and challenges, unfortunately right now, there is way too much crabgrass embedded into the greens. It was like a Putt- putt course with obstacles and bumps everywhere. A tough two putt was a guaranteed 3 maybe even a 4.
Course maintenance is not cheap, but weeds on the money makers is a killer. Turns a good round into a grumpy one, which often means no after round drinks.
Course is ok, but greens are horrible.
I wish they maintained the greens. Completely unpredictable greens, either too fast or too slow.
Also, greens had too much sand, too many weeds and extremely bouncy.
Rest of the course was good. Fairway is fair and rough is reeeally rough with quite tall grass that not only eats up the balls, extremely difficult to play shots from rough.
Only portable toilets and are bad, no tissues or hand sanitizer.
Golf cart failed lock brakes for most of the time.
Poor conditions
Weeds in the fairway, sand traps not taken care of, overall conditions very poor.
Terrible
Greens are full of off POA and nothing be done need to to punched and fairways not mowed and roughy not mowed in terrible shape should let people for free it terrible really wet should the greens and POA covering the the greens calling it goose grass. Not tue POA spread worst when u don’t mow ever day and want that money to pay is sick I give the golf course a minus 1
Fun course
We played this course. What a fun course. First of all the lady and pro shop check in , very nice. Carts ready to go , clean nice. First tee nearby. Would be a 5 on amenities if a range , no range. From the first hole , great fun. At the turn , great friendly staff clubhouse. Got a huge hot dog and drink , with tip. Under 10 bucks. Played back nine. Will be back !
Worse course I’ve ever played.
The course was in horrible shape. The fairways needed cutting and grass clippings blew off. The greens were patchy crabgrass everywhere and virtually fairway height. Cart paths busted up concrete very rough. The carts front wheels were bent so I don’t know if I was tired from the golf or driving the cart. Now to the good parts. The course has a nice layout. Some of the holes are pretty difficult for mid to high handicap’s. Fairways are wide so there’s plenty of spots to miss but there is tree and water trouble through the course. No real OB markers unless you’re in someone’s yard. Overall if the course was in better shape it would be a very nice place to play.
Poor
The actual course layout is fun. Ground maintenance is usually crap. They have had broken bridges for a while to get to the next course. They aren't strict here which is a plus. I've been many times and if they kept up with this course, it would be amazing; different than most. Straight fairways are boring and this one mixes it up, this one delivers challenges. You didn't know needed
