About
The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Golfer Reviews
Putting green surface in bad shape
The putting greens were in very bad shape on the front 9. I did not play rhe back 9 due to a group of 3 decided to start theor round on the back 9 instead of the front.
Worst i have ever seen
Nothing was in good shape at all. Greens were absolutely awful and worse I have ever played.
Greens are terrible
This course needs a big change. Not well maintainace. The greens were so bad, many dead spots... we coulnt putt, had to pick up the ball and go.
Dont recommend.
Need help
Tee boxes, greens need a lot of work...nothing worse than playing golf and the greens are unplayable...please fix the greens and i will come back with guests..but not at this time.
So much potential
Staff are always really nice. The layout it fun. I’ve been playing here 2-4 times a year for the past 5-7 years and it seems like the groundskeepers just can’t get things going. Normally always wet, greens are normally very slow, and the bunkers are normally not well kept. It’s the closest one to my house so I’d love for it to thrive. Also no driving range .
Terrible greens
Course should be closed for play as the greens are almost non existent!
Fun but unplayable Greens
The worst part was I left my $300 Oakley Sunglasses on my cart. I left the grounds and came right back. The cart was washed and put away but NO sunglasses…so a very expensive round.
It was a fun golf course and I would play it again if I could get the same “Hot Deal” otherwise not worth it.
Oh, the greens
As per usual for this point in the season, the greens are not in great shape. Many have bare patches, the 5th having very little grass. I'm sure they'll come back when it starts to rain. But be aware.
Good course, but greens need some TLC
Nice course, the green have a lot on dead spots, need some TLC
Shameful
It’s such a shame to see a fun course in those conditions. It’s been a while since I’ve played there but I have never seen the course in the condition it’s in now. Whoever owns it should either sell it to someone who will put money into it to get it back to playable or man up and do it themselves. Do not waste your money or time playing this course.
Greens
The greens in most holes were in terrible condition, not only lack of grass but holes or large dirt divots which made putts impossible. Course simply needs a lot of work and attention. T boxes were also in bad condition.
This course has its seasons. A few months ago, it was in really good conditions, later came winter with freezing temperatures and it definitely hit this course, as well as others around. However, it definitely is in need of human help as by itself, waiting for the rain to happen, is not working.
Once the rain starts, and high season is over, the course will recover.
This is the course I play the most due to its close distance, and would love to see it back to its prime.
