Links of Lake Bernadette

About
The Links of Lake Bernadette enjoys verdant landscaping and a rolling terrain that are perfectly complemented by mature and towering pines. At 6,400 yards, the golf course is seemingly short but it feels like it plays much longer due to frequent doglegs that can be found throughout. Six of the par 4s play over 400 yards and a few par 3s measure over 200 yards, which also helps the course feel longer. Water hazards and bunkers come into play but they are balanced by large greens and wide fairways that make for easier approaches. Although beginners won't feel out of place and there are four different sets of tees, the golf course boasts several tricky holes that will challenge even the best players. One of these, the 163-yard 13th, was once called the best par 3 in Tampa Bay.

Playable
The course is good. Greens are tricky so it makes birdies hard to make. You need to be precise on some holes. Course management a must.
Always a fun day
Course in good shape but noticed serious need of watering and TLC. Don’t let it get away from you before summer and the monsoon season
Lake Bernadette
Decent course conditions.. in March 25.
Pace was slow on back 9 after we stopped at turn for lunch on a Saturday- course was at capacity. Reasonable value would play again!
HAVE PLAYED HERE MANY TIMES. i ENJOED PLAYING ON A COURSE THAT HAS GRASS ON THE FAIRWAYS. THE GREENS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE.
Good course, Food People!
What I like the most about this course is its layout: Narrow and challenging. So, when I go to other courses, my aiming is better!
The pace is slower due to the snowbirds season. Fairly priced and cared.
Great shape
This course gets a lot of play but it's in really good condition for the tee boxes to the greens. A lot of challenging shots, please play from the appropriate tease and you'll have a great time. We will return
review
The Links at Lake Bernadette was in decent condition.....greens needed some attention as did the fairways......The course was very crowded on that day and took us nearly 5 hours to finish.....Overall, we were a bit disappointed in the condition and probably won't go back for a while...... as it's a long drive from the Port Richey area.......
Q on Links of Bern
The course is taking a beating this winter again. The out of state winter visitors have zero to no course etiquette. A shot gun start doesn’t mean driving down the middle of the fairway causing untimely delays for the people still playing. I’ve played this course for almost 20 yrs now and the wintertime invasion has destroyed this course and the locals have to pay more, why.
Greens are in bad condition again, tee boxes need repairs. Front desk staff lady is very rude, no respect to paying golfers, very slow at what she does, manager is hardly there to manage the course. What happened to Wesley? He was the only one who cared.
Return visit
Course in better shape than last time played. Greens are inconsistent. Some rolled true others not. Starter was very nice and accommodating. Fairways sparse with grass
Better each time!
I've played in their league last year, and it is getting better and better!
The course is challenging but fun.
Well priced and while some have complained about the pace, it is like any other course.
Sometimes fater than others.
I have no issues when there are people enjoying their time there, as EVERYONE has to start (and we ALL have been there)...
So, if I find a group slower I kindly ask to play the next one and, if it's my turn to enjoy the course and have fun with friends and/or family, I let others pass and that's it! No harm, no drama; just Fun as it was meant to be!!!
The owner still doesn't understand the importance of doing a better job with this course. The tee boxes need a lot work, the greens are coli-flowered sections and the fairways need work.
