About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Slow play , 7 minute tee times , some holes we had 4 groups from tee box to green
Was a pleasure
The greens are awesome. Some are a little bit slow but nice. The fairways could see more good grass but ok. The ball doesn’t sit up more of a tight lie condition. They need to seed and let the grass be more like around the fringe of the greens. But with that said the course was good.
Interesting course
The course layout was very interesting and challenging. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Would definitely recommend and play this course again.
Course has grass!
In better shape than most Florida couses I have played this season. Excellent greens and tee boxes. Fairways spotty in places, but playable.
Strategic placement of giant Oak trees makes some holes a lot of fun ( read: challenge).
Value!
Fairways a bit dry. Greens in great shape. You won’t find better for $32.
Enjoyable golf
Most of the fairways were okay to good but on some of them it was hard to find grass to hit from the middle of the fairway. Where they have overseated the fairways are and top condition. The greens are a little bit slow but because of the lack of rain I can understand some of their issues. Enjoy your round.

Great course for the money. Greens were excellent but just a hair on slow side Fun. Pace of play got slow because of singles and twosomes. Please make them pair up
Mixed views
Very very slow front nine with 4 groups waiting on Tee 8! Thankfully the problem ceased on the second nine otherwise we would have given up, guess the slow groups ahead were worn out by endless air shots and popping balls into ponds etc.
The layout of the course is not very scenic but greens, surrounds, bunkers and tees better than Links of lake Bernadette just down the road. Buggy paths not eveident on some holes and not sell signposted as a visitor.
On balance I preferred Links of lake Bernadette
Slow both play and greens
I believe they use 7 minute tee times, which made for slow play, waiting at virtually every swing.
The greens were in nice shape but are verrrrry slow, unnecessarily.
For a beautiful day, it was a bit of a disappointing one.
