About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Greens
The greens are really slow. They need to cut them to a stimpmeter of 10. Have to hit the ball instead of striking the putter. Lower down your greens mower!!!!

Quality
Great course to play even though we had a decent drive to get here but we’ll worth it.
The starter and ranger were like a comedians very funny and a great sense of humour, both having children in the uk.
Great layout greens were a bit slow but helped our game. Also the bar lady was very helpful.

most of the greens were in great shape GIVE THE GREENSKEEPER A RAISE !!!!!
Disappointed
Schedule was overloaded and slow.Greens were very slow and had clumps of some type of weed growing which made putting difficult. The fairways are over seeded and lush.
Nice course
This course is over all good but the greens are very slow and some have weed patches , Pase of play was slow but average for the amount of players using the course I hope they will address the greens issues I would love to play there again !

The course is looking good. Grass on fairways, greens good, slow today due to the storm that went through 2 days ago. New carts.
