Silverado Golf & Country Club
About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Worst experience
I have never been so harassed by a ranger in all my years of playing golf. I tried to enjoy a golf outing with family and friends and literally got harassed and stalked by the course ranger. I was told keep up with the pace of play and my response was I'm not hitting into that group. He followed us between holes and kept at us and another group. A overbooked golf course and trying to push everyone.
Starter told us we could have coolers but with only water which is all we had . Later was told by the starter to put up our coolers we couldn't have them. No water stations anywhere!
It's a shame because the course was nice and everyone was so nice with the exception of the ranger. Will not play again due to a rude ranger.
Silverado
Course is in very good shape. This is one of our favorites in the area.
the golf course needs a lot of work fairways need a lot of attention lot of the greens are not good
Got right out
I had a 12:30 tee time and I teed off at 12:15 (as none of the other 3 showed) I caught a foursome on hole3 and on hole 5 they asked if I wanted to play through or play with them as they were keeping up with the 4 ahead of them I declined and on hole 7 3 guys caught up and I asked if they wanted to join me and they did so the Pase of play was better until we got to 16 then it backed up (i think some group jumped ahead ) other than that the course is good and I will book it again
First Timer
Player here after heavy rain. Very wet in many areas but playable. Course needs to have better markings to detail where the next hole is going to be. Not a long course and some holes are very tight. Would play again and the green fees are very reasonable.
Siverado
Course is in very good condition. Very busy course this time of year but pace of play was good. I always enjoy playing this course and it is one of my local favorites.
Pleasantly Surprised
Wow,what a great course ! Played from the whites could of played the blues fairways were rolling out drives! Greens were in great shape but a little to slow for my liking! DEFINETLY will play again!
Would definitely play again.
The course is in good shape, scenery is beautiful with all the old oaks. Pace of play was bad. Wasn’t able to tee off until half an hour after my tee time. Cart paths can get a little confusing between some holes. Overall still a good experience. Would love to play again on a day the course isn’t as busy
Office
The worker at desk had no ideal what she was doing i trid to rent a 2nd cart and she charged me $20.00 the sing showes $10.00 WHY?
Pace of play
I think the ranger could have been more active in maintaining a better pace of play
