Silverado Golf & Country Club
About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

5 O'Clock Tee Time
I enjoy the playing this course. They do have a 2 man to a cart rule, but otherwise it's a pleasant place to play.
Awesome
Beautiful golfing in zephyrhills fl... awesome golf course and good green conditions
Never finished…
Pace of play was extremely slow, we stopped after 10 holes just came to a standstill behind a twosome that appeared to have played very little in their lives. Course conditions were not bad, greens were ok, the 10 we saw anyway. Try again down the road.
Good value
Course is nice and fairways are in good condition.
Greens are becoming diseased.
Golf carts need to be replaced.
Enjoyable course
First time playing this course and it was quite enjoyable. Extremely friendly pro shop, starter, and ranger staff. Very convenient driving range to warm up on the way to the first hole. Course was in quite good shape and I would make a return visit.
Silverado
Love Silverado but certain aspects are still disappointing. Fairway lies are often very thin. Tee boxes are rough. The greens are typically nice but the speed is inconsistent green to green and bumpy at times. The cart paths are rough. This course could be the golf jewel in the area hands down. The layout is terrific and challenging. Many of the holes are unique and fun to play and this is what brings me back time and again. Staff is friendly and the food served is very good.
Always a good time.
Some wide fairways make me feel more at ease with some errant shots.
Okay golf
Course is doing well considering the dry weather. Greens are very good. Most fairways are good. Enjoyable course to play. Cart paths need some help.
Well-kept, scenic course
For under $30, it's rare to find a course with a starter, but Silverado has one! She's upbeat, friendly, and helpful. So was the woman in the well-stocked pro shop. It really starts off your round right when you have good people running the course.
The course itself was in great shape during our mid-April 2021 round. Unlike some Florida courses in the area, Silverado isn't swampy. In fact, you can roam among the majestic oaks to find your ball, or just take in the scenery. Most of the waterholes are all in the back 9, but reasonably accurate golfers won't even notice the water.
The course is challenging yet fair, and a middling golfer like me can make a great score if I just keep my head in the game.
We will be back!
great day
very nice day, my brother had a hole in one on number 10. Greens very nice , fairways are getting better. With recent rain I have high hopes for the course this summer.
AMAZING
GREAT value and course is in beautiful shape. 10/10 would recommend.
