Silverado Golf & Country Club
About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Enjoyed my round
This is a short course so played the white tees vs. Senior tees. Greens , traps and the boxes in good shape. A few of the fairways need some TLC. The course was beautiful with its large oaks boarding the fairways. Personnel in the club's house were pleasant. All around nice experience. Will definitely visit this course again.
Always a good time
This is the best course on the east side of Pasco for the money. Good greens, good tee boxes and good fairways. Layout is forgiving for new golfers, however playing from the tips provides good challenge for experienced golfers. Course is almost always in great shape. Just a bonus, the best hotdog you’ll find at a golf course.

Course is in excellent shape. Good value for the money.
Getting “rough”!
Have played here off and on for years. Have rarely seen course conditions this poor. Many greens essentially unplayable due to weed infestation. I guess weed control is expensive, so they are just mowing the weeds.
First time playing this course. Layout is good and challenging. Starting to get a weed problem on the greens and fairways.
Good shape
The course was in good condition.the fairways were a little thin but the greens were in good shape. They were a little slow but rolled good. It took us 3 hours to play the groups ahead of us played quick too. Love the layout of this course
Silverado
Great course. Always in great shape. Great value as well.
Some great holes
The course had several beautiful and challenging holes. It also had a couple of holes that weren't the same quality. It seemed like they knew they needed 18 holes so they just used whatever space they had. It was still a nice course, especially for the money.
Enjoyable golf
You will love playing Silverado. Not too long, greens in fantastic shape, tee boxes A okay and 80 % of fairways good in spite of a long dry spell.

Played with my brother for the first time. He played for the first time in 20 years. Course was in great shape and had many playing golf. They had excellent social distancing guidelines and golfers followed them. I would highly recommend this course.
Virus mode
Course is taking COVID-19 precautions. Raised pins, no drinking water, no ball washers. Greens in great shape. Fairways OK.
the course is good
the course is in very good shape there a few dry spots but in all very good shape
