Silverado Golf & Country Club
About
Silverado Golf & Country Club is situated just north of Tampa in scenic Zephyrhills. It is a par-71 layout but for low handicappers, it can be extended to a par 72 by turning the lengthy 10th hole into a challenging par 4. The area's natural beauty is defined by the mature oaks that date back over 100 years and the abundant wildlife, including red tail hawks, geese, and foxes. The landscape provides an excellent round of golf, which is further enhanced by the year-round temperate climate. Bunkers treacherously lurk throughout and the occasional water hazard also comes into play. The golf course offers some challenging holes but overall, it is approachable for a range of skill levels. Silverado finishes with a par 4 that requires a difficult carry in order to make it past the pond in the middle of the fairway. Those who strategize carefully will be rewarded with a birdie.

Great course at a great value
Well maintained fairway n greens. Friendly course that all different level of players will find enjoyment.
Silverado
Nice place to go off. Course is a little challenging with its large oak trees, but has a great layout. No shortage of water here.
A wet day for golf
Last minute decision to play here when we found out Dorian would be heading north instead of east. Course had gotten two inches of rain the night before and it started raining with two holes to play so we stopped. That aside, we always like the course. Keep ion your rotation if you can get a decent price.
Good track.
This course will challenge you on your positioning skills. If you avoid the trees and water hazards, you can score well here. The course drains really well after rain which makes it very enticing to play here.
Silverado
Great course but it was wet. This is a problem with all the courses right now with it raining everyday. Can’t wait to dry out and play again.
Beautiful Oaks
Played with my oldest son and a good friend . A single joined us for the round. Course had a few wet spots but was in good condition. We all had a fun round.
Play and avoid dismay
Excellent. A must play. Tons of fun. Wide fairways. Well maintained
pleaserable morning
fairways and greens excellent, you use every club in the bag, great fun.
Always Good
Silverado is my favorite course. Course conditions are always good and the staff is always great. A fun place for a good round of golf.
Great course. Great Price
During a time when a lot of other courses around the area are in not the greatest shape, this course manages to keep the greens are rolling nice and the fairways nice and plush. The course is not overly difficult but is a good test of golf. There are definitely some holes that can get you into trouble but overall they are all very enjoyable. Everyone I experienced on the course, from pro shop to 18th green was very pleasant. I will absolutely go back as I very much enjoyed the round.
Good Time
Played early afternoon. Course had cart path/rough only. Greens were a little slow but true. Completed the round in just under three hours. Pace of play was outstanding.
Good time
Played 18 on a hot Friday morning. Course was in good shape with the greens filling in nicely. Groundskeepers kept mowing on five of the holes while we were playing, a little annoying. Guy in the pro shop was super friendly. Course is pretty forgiving and this lead to no lost balls by our group. Only drawback is no practice area for putting or chipping. I would definitely play here again.
Nice coarse
Nice coarse, easy pin placements. Back 9 golf cart paths are little bumpy. Not overpriced.
Worth the trip
Inviting entrance to the clubhouse and proshop... quiet area and neighborhood...excellent staff and service...very accommodating for a late playing partner who got lost..the track is fun, challenging, and risk reward...played number 18 safe just to keep a personal best round in tact. Definitely playing here again
I loved this course!
As soon I you drive up, you'll be impressed with the openness of the course and the easy-to-follow layout. The people were great to deal with and I would love to play this course again! The only downsides are the carts need to be updated. There is no practice putting green as it's being replaced by a concrete pad for events. The practice range needs some work but it is usable.
