About
The David L. Baker Golf Course is an affordable public course located in Fountain Valley. It has an approachable layout that is versatile enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels. No two holes are alike but all of the greens and fairways share the same excellent conditions. Water has a prominent presence on this executive golf course with lakes and ponds running alongside many of the holes. The sloped greens are lightning fast and the fairways are tightly manicured. Beside the greens lurk treacherous sand traps that are just waiting to swallow errant shots. Although there are some tricky holes, the layout is gentle enough for beginners. It is an enjoyable and affordable round that offers excellent short game practice, no matter what skill level.

Pace of play
Pace of play is not good, starter allows 6 players not good at completing four players. if you let a twosome out u will see them join a 3 or player game.
greens are not kept well very inconsistent.
Pace of play a bit slow
They seem to be allowing more 5-somes lately. A couple of them slowed pace way down last weekend.

Cours layout
The green conditions were good. Fairways are nice and wide but have some dry spots. The pace of play was good. Recommend during hot weather due to close proximity to the ocean.
Good day out
This executive course is a good day out, particularly for those of us a little older (50+). The course is not very well maintained and it's not exactly a bargain in terms of green fees, particularly when you consider for the same price you can get in a full 6500 yards+ course somewhere else. The greens are slow and there's quite a few dirt patches, particularly around the greens But it's good for those of us not wanting to spend an entire day playing golf and scratches that itch.
This is important feedback, and we appreciate it. We work hard to provide our customers with the best support. We hope you will give us another opportunity to demonstrate this.
