About
The David L. Baker Golf Course is an affordable public course located in Fountain Valley. It has an approachable layout that is versatile enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels. No two holes are alike but all of the greens and fairways share the same excellent conditions. Water has a prominent presence on this executive golf course with lakes and ponds running alongside many of the holes. The sloped greens are lightning fast and the fairways are tightly manicured. Beside the greens lurk treacherous sand traps that are just waiting to swallow errant shots. Although there are some tricky holes, the layout is gentle enough for beginners. It is an enjoyable and affordable round that offers excellent short game practice, no matter what skill level.

Don’t waste your time and money
Way overpriced for the terrible course conditions. We had a tee time reserved and when we checked in they just said go ahead whenever you’d re ready. We started at our time and 3 older women walking started right on front of us. They each hitting short shorts. Not a problem, we skipped the second hole and went to the third after finishing the first hole since we were a twosome and riding. When we head to the 6th hole, 3 older ladies on carts had jumped in front of us somehow. Zero etiquette whatsoever. Then we go to start the back 9 and another group decided to play the back. The greens are trashed like other reviews have said. Not worth $46 a round for a short course in bad shape. Definitely won’t be back.
Solid
Fun 18. Some fairways were spotty, some tee boxes had a wait, greens were a tad slow, but it was still a fun 18. Just short of 4 hours to finish the round. Solid value for the money.

This course does not give refunds if you book in golf .com and you are walking
Never got my refund back for walking so if you ever play here don’t book it trough golf .com according to them if you book on line you pay for riding they can’t changed it if you wanna walk they can change the fees only if you book trough them .

Ones you book on line with golf .com they won’t let you change options like if you wanna walk in stead the guy in the front told me he was gonna refunded me some money back and he lied to me no money still waiting the funny thing is that is not about the money but him trying to convince me that ones you pay on golf . Com you can not change the options if you wanna walk because you loose your money
