About
The David L. Baker Golf Course is an affordable public course located in Fountain Valley. It has an approachable layout that is versatile enough to appeal to a range of different skill levels. No two holes are alike but all of the greens and fairways share the same excellent conditions. Water has a prominent presence on this executive golf course with lakes and ponds running alongside many of the holes. The sloped greens are lightning fast and the fairways are tightly manicured. Beside the greens lurk treacherous sand traps that are just waiting to swallow errant shots. Although there are some tricky holes, the layout is gentle enough for beginners. It is an enjoyable and affordable round that offers excellent short game practice, no matter what skill level.

Nice short course
Fun course for average golfers. Great place to let beginners enjoy the game. Course is well maintained given the heavy use carts are new and in great shape. Food is above average and roaming snack cart at least on weekends. My wife is learning to play so this gives her a course she can handle. All the short par 4s will make you feel like a monster off the tee
Early T time
Nice course, well maintained friendly staff. Are T time was 5 am and the course was well lit.
Small course
This is a course for beginners, short with lots of par 3’s
Greens are nice
Slow pace of play, but the greens are nice and the driving range being open at this time is a major plus.
Satisfied
Haven't played for years but was very satisfied with the round. Will play again but its not our regular course.

The greens keeper spent a lot of time making these nice greens to what they are now but there are still plenty of golfers ignoring their own divot marks. If we can do our share and fix 2 or 3 every time we’re on the green while waiting, we’ll all be helping out so we’ll all have perfect lines to putt on.

Good walk today, but boy was it ever windy!! Course is in good shape overall, but lots of tree branches and palm fronds down on the ground today!
Still a good executive course to walk!

I definitely agree. Leave them better than when you get there. Kudos to the greenskeeper. Golfers, please do your share to help fix those divots.
