Bay View Golf Club

It was a low pace from groups in front and so on! We tee’d off at 12:45 for a 12:33 tee time and didn’t improved anymore during the game, more delays and waiting! Maybe it’s weekend pace and busy day!? But really frustrating was we didn’t finish the e game because of darkness!

Tee time were on time and not too crowded. Pace was great for midday Saturday

I've played many many courses over the 40+ years of playing golf and this course is probably the worst!

I don't mind a tough course, even some very challenging holes, but this course is SO unfair.

Hit off the fairway here and you can kiss the ball goodbye! Forget it looking for it, it is GONE! Why? Sloping fairways, very deep rough, heavy shrubs everywhere, etc. I'm not a touring pro, make it a bit more forgiving so people will come back to play! TOTALLY UNFAIR COURSE.

Recent ownership change brought a new name, but this is Summitpointe. A muni course. For a few dollars short of $100. Drive another 30 mins and play poppy ridge or Tilden park for cheaper.

If you are finding a coach, I assure you, go there, their coaches are the best and are nice. GO BAYVIEW!!!

We had perhaps the worst golfing experience at BayView on nov 24th - we booked at 2:04pm and was told that we had a20 minutes delay. It turned out that there were no gate keeper - so many groups behind out tee time played ahead. Once on the course - we had to wait another 12-20 minute for each hole - at one one time on Hole 3 which was Par 3, we saw one foursome just off the green, one five- person party was in the middle of fairway, and another five- person group was one the tee, and we just finished hole 2. It is I’ll-managed course with. 9-minute interval for each group, without any course management. Since we have to wait forever to play we left the course around 4pm after playing just three holes but paid $50 for each player. We never saw this KIEN of situation when the course was called Suumitpointe. Having enough, this would be our last play in this course.

5:40 round. Slowest round ever due to course management letting way to many people play that day. Given the poor fairways and bunkers, I guess that this overplay is fueled by managements continued overplay and poor maintenance. Was quite good last year. Could not recommend when you can play other publics for less and get a better playing experience

Never played a 5.5 hour round, until today. Management clearly allows ‘over-packing’ the course, which is in poor shape compare to 6-9 months ago. The driving range (no driver) was in terrible shape. For $95.00, one of the most expensive Publics around, you should behave better conditions and not have to wait 5-15 min on each hole. It’s too bad I liked this tough course last year. Won’t be back.

First time playing at Bay View and pace of play made the experience horrible. Literally waiting at each tee box for about 10 min while 1-2 groups ahead were playing and waiting at the same time. Spacing out the tee times more than 5-8 min apart is a necessity. Took over 2 hours just to barely get 8 holes in…the course itself is challenging and good if you know the layout. But overall not worth the money. Pretty sure most people don’t have the ability to spend 5-6 hrs to play 18.
