The greens were in great shape.

Most holes had back pin placements.

From the fair way there was no way to tell which part of the green the flag was in. All the same color flag.

GPS was to the middle.

I have never played a course to where on 4 separate holes, the pin was on such a steep slope, you roll your ball past the hole and it would roll all the way back to where you putted from. Incredible, those pins should never be placed past center of those greens. Never played a course with holes setup like that.

Was playable outside of that, but wouldn’t pay more than $35 to play there again.

The layout of the course is fun, challenging and enjoyable. However the course conditions were really bad. The t-boxes were just bad for the price we paid. The fairways were unpredictable, some places were parched dry and some places there was mud. Overall the fairways were a 2-star. The only grace were the greens, they were well maintained and fast. The first cut around the greens were very bad. Hopefully there is a plan to fix these soon.

Completely unacceptable speed of greens. On some greens it didn't make a difference what side of hole u putted on. Above the hole it would role back to or past u. Below the hole if u didn't hit it in it would role sometimes off the green. Played in my club tournament and #1 criticism was the outrageous speed. On the par 3 13th multiple golfers putted 6, 7 times and one golfer a 7 handicapper putted 12 times. We're not playing Augusta fellas. Fire your superintendent.

First time playing the course as "Bay View". Only big change I noticed was that they filled in the pond on #7 totally removing the character of the hole. Greens were is good shape and a decent speed which was refreshing because the last time I played Summitpointe I walked off because the greens were unplayable. Overall condition of the course was poor and the "Drop Area" for #16 was dirt!!

I would not recommend this course to anyone and will not be returning.

The course is in good shape, it's hard to find a even ground except the tee box, the green is in excellent condition but fast, it's worth to give it a try.

Everything was great from the staff friendliness to the course being kept well. Pretty empty so pace of play was great. Only thing I do not t nor do I like is why they would not allow the carts to go on most parts of the course. The cart would just restrict you and you would have to reverse back to a part where the GPS allows you to go. This sucks as the course is hilly enough as it is to not let you drive to most parts.

The golf course is nice but not $95 nice. There’s no Marshall around to keep the pace of play. There’s a lot of waiting around for the players up front. I can find other golf courses that are much nicer for the price.

Overpriced, carts would get locked in the middle of the fairway and say that we were in restricted area and even whiile we were driving on cart path. No water stations out on golf course anywhere. The only good things was that staff was friendly while checking in.

The tee boxes looked like they had not moved the markers in a week, the sand traps were not groomed, very hard to get consistent play out of them. The golf carts don’t go wear you need to go, you walk a lot to find your ball. They spaced out play though so we never felt rushed or pushed when we were playing.

On a Thursday morning while just checking out the golfnow app, I came across a killer deal for a tee time in the next 90 minutes at Bay View Golf Club. Since I alive close and was available, I booked it. Got there 15 minutes til. Check in and loading up my cart was quick and hassle free. This track is always a great challenge. It seems that this course stays wetter and softer than other courses during the summer. It is quite hilly but the wetter conditions makes it less unfair. I have noticed the fairways and greens are getting better. The biggest difference I’ve seen is the fringe right of the green. They are all super healthy lush green color and the edges are trimmed razor sharp. Well done. By the 10th hole, there was only 1 other group on the back 9, so we finished pretty quick. The whole time I was thinking, maybe they should lower their rates a bit and their revenues would definitely be better but whatever. I shot a 93 but this course always beats me up. Can’t wait to play here again.

I’m an amateur, but I played with some really good golfers that found this course almost unplayable. So much elevation and slope to the point that it was really difficult to hit any form of a good shot. Additionally, the greens were lightning fast and it was almost impossible to keep a missed putt on the green. As I said, I am not a good golfer by any means but I shot almost 20 shots over my average simply due to the conditions here

$75 for an afternoon round at a course in worse shape than some munis. Tee boxes are basically crabgrass. Not the worst of it. $20 for a cart that’s so heavily restricted by their GPS it’s almost cart path only. If I wanted to hike 100 yards to get to my ball every hole I would have walked. $75 afternoon round is highway robbery.
