Upland Hills Country Club

Darrel! What a terrible person! He needs to be fired for not doing his job correctly. We had a tee time for Saturday morning at 6:40 AM and apparently there’s a tournament at 7 AM but they forgot to close off the tee time. I talk to him like it was cool don’t worry but help me out but he was super rude and unresponsive to helping us out. There needs to be a level of professionalism that Darrell completely does not have. I don’t usually write bad reviews but this dude really ticked me off. I’m never going to this golf course ever again and I’m gonna make sure that whoever I talk to I let them know the customer service that they have and that the course is terrible to play at.

Club was pretty cool and had good food, other than that, this course is definitely not worth $100. Greens were nice but layout was average with nothing exciting or great about it. Some areas of the course didn’t even had a cart path with mud.

My first time actually writing a review. Upland Hills Country Club was overbooked with terrible separation between groups. Every hole had at least 2 separate groups with delays. We played holes 1 & 4 and then decided to leave. Thankfully we booked a hot deal and GolfNow customer support was great and credited our account back to use on another day. Thank you GolfNow, much appreciated.

Wished they had a walking rate, but for $33 in the afternoon and played single in less than 4 hours I was pretty happy! Good easy course for beginners and juniors!

Great combination of long and short holes. Beautiful quiet area. The group in front of us were terrible and they played several balls each so that put us behind. Good thing that no one was behind us.

Very friendly staff and the hot dogs in the clubhouse were so amazing!

Sand traps were NOT in good shape. For the price we paid expected a little more. If the course were less I would have given a higher rating.

But we had an enjoyable day.

Well I must say that they have raised the rates here, (like most course) but finding a good rate on GolfNow makes it a great place to play. The greens are nice, traps are a little scarce on sand but manageable. The fairways are good, plenty challenging with many trees, and lakes. But well worth playing.

The course continues to improve The greens and fairways were in great condition and the rough was challenging. I think 98 is a little pricey for the course though as it is a par 70.

No driving range, staff is unhelpful (if present at all) and pace of play is so slow I had to stop after 9 holes. We were sometimes waiting for 3 groups at a time on a tee, playing 9 holes in over 3 hours. Tried to get refund but pro shop closed at 5 pm… go figure.

Played on a week day with a group of us seniors. Course plays well for seniors. Or group ages were from 72 to 92. Very enjoyable.

The brutal SoCal summer heat and dryness took its toll on Uplan Hills Country Club. Superintendent doing a great job in bringing it back to great shape.

Not sure if over booked or Marshall issue or what… Had to wait til after our initial Tee time to get a cart, and tee’d off late. Due to the late start and slow pace of play as well as people jumping all over the course and cutting in, we were not able to complete the course and had to stop on the 14th which we played in the pretty much dark. I was excited to play here as I had never been and had some mixed reviews on it from friends. Seems I won’t be coming back as why would I pay a full round to not get a full round in and feel rushed to “hurry up and wait.” The course was in pretty good condition but the cart return at the end was kind of a traffic jam mess. Not sure if there is ever a beverage/refreshment cart, but nowhere to be found on a Sunday is rather unusual. Considered going in for a partial refund but didn’t care to waste anymore time as we had plans afterwards that we were already late for. For reference, we were only a 3 some so I couldn’t imagine if we had a 4th.
