Like the course a lot! kind of Linksy. Really cool layout. Great finishing hole. I definitely recommend Its open during the Covid ban against fresh air and exercise

Played Bristow Manor twice within a weeks time. Staff was excellent. Played in 4 hours 10 minutes. I love the layout of the course. No hole is the same. Greens were in great shape. Smooth and quick. Will be on my rotation of courses to play in 2020.

One of the best kept secrets in the DMV golf area. The greens are as good (fast and true) as courses I pay 2 to 3 times the green fees. Old school design of having the last green played near the next holes tee area (good for walking and pace of play).

For early April the course was in pretty good shape and greens were fast (not aerated yet) for a women, very difficult unless you hit a monster drive! Rough in the middle of where the ball lands and should be still fairway. For guys not so bad .

Played this course today and it’s been a while but still a good course. Greens were in great shape. Roughs were tough today, could use a trim but you were punished in you missed fairways or green.

Friend and I ventured out to play Bristow Manor, and although we only played 14 holes due to rain, we had a good time. The course is in good shape, and the greens were playing very firm and fast. Fairways are still coming to life, but they were smooth. Although no rakes in the bunkers (for obvious reasons), you could see that they had been raked that morning. Friendly staff in the pro shop, and I also enjoy the use of a grass driving range to hit a couple balls to warm up. Hopefully next time we are here, the weather holds off.

I've been playing a lot of courses in Virginia lately, but this one has the worst layout in the front 9 (didn't get a chance to play the back 9), so I have to leave after nine holes because I could not stand the course layout because i was so fed up with the front 9.

6 out of 9 holes have the creeks run across the holes. the only par 3 have water in front of the green, and the other par 3 was over 200 yard long with ravine in the middle. So the only hole that I like is Hole #1. I will never play there again!

A beautiful spring day and a perfect compliment to a great course! Bristow is lush and very well maintained. Kudos!

Good course. Nice layout, really tough when it’s windy. Course conditions were pretty good. Busy day so the pace was only OK. Nice Greens. Bunkers were dirt. Fairways and rough was what you would expect from a public course so not bad but not great. Worth the money, will play again.

I like Bristow Manor. It's a good value for the price. Due to the nice weather this time of the year, we waited about 5-10 min. each hold for the golfers in front of us (expected). There are a couple holes where you are in the line of fire and can be dangerous for golfers with a high handicap. Fairways were not in that great of shape. The best part about this course is probably the friendliness of the staff. Hopefully the conditions change this summer.

Great course in great shape, the fairways will soon be green

1) The greens are in very good condition for early spring. They have "greened-out" nicely and the ball rolled quite well. I was concerned after practicing on the practice green near the range because it looked like it had been recently plugged. However, the actual greens were quite nice.

2) The fairways are still brown, probably because the grass is still dormant. However, they were completely playable.

3) The grass in the rough is green and the length varies quite a bit, even on the same hole. I suspect this is only because of the early spring conditions. There were also bare spots at various points in the rough.

4) The tee boxes were in nice condition and have "greened-out" well.

5) Bunkers were in a nice condition, although I observed multiple instances where the previous players had not raked them out.

Bottom line - worth playing, but at a cost-point of about $25-$35 for a weekday round, maybe $30-$45 for a weekend round.

Course is in great shape based on the time of year.

Brutally slow, two fivesomes ahead of us, one group just jumping around to any hole, no course Marshall, just a free for all. Would not play there again if it was free

Pace of play was too slow. Had to wait often......need a Marshall working the weekends. Friendly staff, great bar and dining area. Course recovering well from winter freeze.. Greens are some of the best in northern VA.
