Outstanding Course!
My buddy & I played today in the light rain after over 2” of rain the past two days and the course drainage is absolutely great! The course design is exceptionally appealing to the eye and with 5 sets of tee boxes will play to scratch golfer 7200 yards to 5-10 at 6700 yards, 11-18 6200 yards. This golf jewel is very challenging and fun to play.
The greens are generous in size medium fast with hidden slight breaks.
I am a member at Trump National DC (course closed for member-guest) which is why I played it for the first time.

Great value
I have always enjoyed this course and came back after a year. I wasn't disappointed at all. The greens were wonderful and surprisingly the pace of play was wonderful.
Deceptively Challenging!
On the score card and when you start your round you will be thinking the course is going to be easy. Be careful, it's gonna bite you in the behind if you don't plan out your attack of each hole. Having a range finder is a great thing to have. The designer did a wonderful putting this course together.
The Greens run fast, straight and true. Except for the few divots left by people before you, the greens are near perfect.
Fairways are well laid out, with many elevation changes and traps put in places that force the player to rethink club choices.
Sand traps are deep with soft sand.only saw 1 trap not raked during the 2 rounds I've played there.
Pro Shop was cool, clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Great course for the money. I paid 50 bucks with cart on a hot deal and it was well worth it.

A bit of a drive from Alexandria but well worth it.

Practice areas are in great shape.
The course was in great shape.
Greens are fast!
It's a challenging layout. I'd play some of the holes differently next time.
Pace of lay was at 4 hours, average but could have been faster if a Ranger talked to the group two ahead of us to stop playing safari. That was a little annoying
Beverage cart made two rounds while we played!

Great course at this price range
Played this course for the first time on a midweek afternoon tee time and thought it was a great value for the price point. I will be coming back to play.
The only real drawback for me was the range which was unfortunately mats only that day.
I know a lot of people are unhappy with the fact that you can’t pull out driver on any of the par 5s, but I personally enjoyed having to strategically play my irons/woods so that wasn’t too much of a negative for me.
Overall super happy with the course, staff and conditions.

Overall, it is an average course with above average pricing. It is a forgiving course. Definitely good for weaker players to play, but overpriced for what is presented. Would I play here for $60? Yes. $100? Absolutely not. There are much nicer courses to play for that price range.
