WOW!
Fantastic Fall morning, joined up with 3 players from the same Family yet 23 different generations...all I can say is they were an extreme pleasure to play with, right from Grandma to the Grandson, oh and the course was exceptional...I've played some of our Country's finest and this course rates top marks for design, challenge and unbelievable condition.
Certainly a day to remember!
The Best in Niagara
have had an opportunity to play all of the top courses in Niagara this year and i guess we saved the best for last.
i have read all of the other reviews for this course and can confer with the majority that rate it as a 5.
we had an 8 am tee off which was the second of the day so the pace of play was not a problem.
the course is in great shape, the greens are in great shape and faster than any of the other courses we have played in the area, bunkers are well placed and can cause serious problems for missed shots.
Staff were both professional and extremely helpful.
Golf now pricing was great and we look forward to our next round before year end.
Niagara Golf at it's finest
If you are heading to Niagara; be sure to make a stop here. You will not be disappointed. From the seamless check in to top notch practice facilities; to well manicured fairways and fast greens. The course does not disappoint and 3.5 hours for a foursome to play on a Saturday morning?!?!? Golf as it should be...
Excellent day as always at this course!
Course was in phenomenal shape, challenging pin placements made for some fun approach shots, good pace and excellent staff all around!
Mostly wonderful
Mostly wonderful ...Greens and fairways great shape and also a great Gesign. Traps OK but not 5 star
Will return
I travel to the Niagara region every year for a quick golf vacation, and this was the best course I have played in the region. Perfectly manicured, and a staff that was very friendly and helpful. The marshal traveling the course to offer complimentary water was a really nice touch. The gem of the course though, was the playability. Enough challenge to be interesting, while still able to offer chances to score well if you hit good shots.
Nice but not worth driving an hour for.
Nice course, very long, challenging as well, don't even think of walking it. On the flip side, I would not say it deserves the premium pricing they charge to play. Would I pay 50-60 dollars to play it, sure, any day of the week. More then that, no. Very similar to Grey Silo in Waterloo. Only one or two what I would call 'wow' holes.
Poor,Bunker conditions
Course is some what challenging, greens were in good condition but a lot of ball marks not fixed correctly course maintenance should be looking after this daily for the price you are paying. Bunkers were in terrible shape.
Private Club Treatment
First time playing Grand Niagara and was extremely impressed with the staff and condition of the course. It felt like I was playing a private course. Generous off the tee however; almost many greens are elevated with deep bunkers all around. Accuracy on the approach shots is a must.
Grand Niagara
Friendly welcome. Great conditions. Great pace of play. Definitely will play again.
Excellent course
Course was in amazing shape. Day started out great with the weather but then it started pouring rain which made hitting from the water soaked fairways tough. Staff was very friendly and accommodating getting my two groups out in front of a tourney even though we were late. Would definitely play here again.
amazing course
Beautiful course. Staff was fantastic. Highly recommend. Might be my new favorite course
Excellent all around
I love this course and the staff was great. The marshal was even delivering water... The only thing that holds me back from playing more is the price, but I guess you have to pay for quality.
Great Course
Grand Niagara is, by far, the best course in the Niagara Region. It is ALWAYS in perfect condition with perfect sand (even though some of the bunkers are quite daunting! We play it as a treat due to the higher price but it is well worth every dollar.
Thank you for the kind words. Bunker work almost completed. Will assist with heavy rain washouts. We look forward on your next visit back! bc
Great course
Excellent conditions with a tremendous layout. Great value and would play again in a heartbeat.
Grand Niagara - Very good course
Staff is some of the best I've ever encountered. Customer Service is clearly their focus! Course is in very good shape. However, some greens seemed to be faster than others (ones that were exposed to wind definitely were faster). You need to make sure you land on the green here, or you will end up with a higher score than you would like. Great test of golf, lots of tees to choose from to match your skill level as well. Would recommend this course to anyone.
A Niagara Gem
After a few year's absence, I once again had the opportunity to play Grand Niagara. This is truly a gem in Niagara, in my opinion, the best course in the area. Perhaps, it is due to the location, but this course should be getting more play than it does. It was in fantastic shape with the greens running fast and true. Fairways and bunkers were well maintained. As a twosome, we played the course in under 3.5 hours. Marshalls and staff were very congenial. I do not hesitate to give this course a big thumbs up.
We are glad that you made it back. The Course is only getting better. Greens NOT being aerated until November 2015. Prime conditions continue. We look forward in your return. GnStaff
A Grand Day
My favorite course in Niagara region. Course was in beautiful shape. Range could use some shorter targets for wedge shots. Pace of play was fabulous - 4 hours. Staff were very friendly.
Talk around the Club is that target greens and a short game practice area is on the radar. How good will that be!
come back and see us soon

Best course we played so far this year!
The pro shop/club house is fairly simple and not too attractive. Staffs were super friendly and helpful; they even put our names on the power cart. Good driving range for warm up. We were paired up with two super friendly locals and went out as the first group in the morning, and finished our round in less than four hours. Course is in A1 conditions with perfect tee boxes, fairways and greens. The best condition course we played so far (40+ rounds) this year. A bit pricy but worth every cents to play this exceptional course.
Happy to hear that your round was enjoyable. Working from an old farmhouse (Golf Shop and FB)- we manage. Like you- people come for the golf! We hope to see you back GNstaff
Happy to read your positive comments. Remember- green aeration NOT UNTIL we close for the year. Summer greens continue in October! With Fall rates starting October 5- we hope to see you back
