Great course .
This course is not for the faint of heart. Beautiful layout, with large challenging greens . The greens are well protected with water and numerous sand traps. A great course that you will want to play again.
Grand Niagara
The name says it all. The course was in great shape. The greens are challenging but nice to play as they were very quick.
Would recommend this course to anyone who wants to play one of the best in the Niagara area.
Would like to see some special rates for the local residents, but still a good value for the course.
challenging
Course is in excellent condition ,pros would be challenged.
Great spot
Excellent course, not busy, good staff, easy to get tol
would not pay more than $65 from golf now
I played on Monday Sept 29th as a single. I joined up with 2 other great guys. Play was slow because of a fox delay. I had heard great things about this course so I decided to play it with a golf now deal of $65.
I found this course to be no better than legends. For the money usually cheaper play either of the Legends courses.
I would go back to Legends but not Grand Niagara.
The course condition was good but not as good asI thought. No real clubhouse.
Very nice course.
Grand Niagara is one of the nicest courses in the Niagara area. The course is very challenging and is always in great shape.
The only real knock against the course is the price.
Great condition, need to improve on pace of play
Great condition as one would expect from this course. The pace of play was great for the 1st 9 holes but for some unknown reason we went into a log jam from the 11th onwards, having to wait at least 5 minutes each hole, which really adds up to the overall time, and there were no marshalls around. It would have been a great round if not somwhat spoiled by the pace of play. Staff was very friendly.
Amazing condition!
Great condition, greens are so well designed, bunkers were perfect.
cost
beautiful course, friendly staff, just know a lot more people who would play it more if cost went down. To many nice courses to play in the area that are cheaper.
Amazing
The Staff here are incredible. Excellent Service. the Fairways and greens are best we have seen in Niagara. This course is top notch! Lots of sand traps, greens are FAST. I am a fairly new golfer, long play from the woman's tees but I had the best round of golf I have ever played. We will definitely be back to this course. Well worth the money. Best golf experience yet.
Best Course In NIagara Region
A very honest course. What you see is what you get.
Lots of room off the tee. After that it tightens up. I understand that there have been ownership issues in the past but, one feels that a more impressive clubhouse would be in order for such a good facility.
Practice Range
The range needs a practice bunker because many of the approach shots into the greens require carries over some large, deep bunkers. My bunker play on the day of play was poor and I could have definitely used some sand practice,
Amazing course...
Amazing course greens very fast.. Peaceful surroundings... And the course did make you feel GRAND... Will return again..
Awesome
Played about 50 rounds in Ontario this year and this course by far has been the best one. Pristine condition and great layout. Couldn't ask for anything more. Only knock would be The Grill really doesn't match how good this course is but really that's secondary anyway.
Thank you for the great comments. Ownership has told us that a more permanent structure for Food/Beverage (FB) is in the plans. We hope to see you back in 2015! bc
This course was in great shape, greens were rolling true.
We loved the everything about the golf aspect of the trip, the course, personal, the only problem we had was the wind.It was awful,it made the game bad because by the 11th hole we were frustrated with it,at some times we had to club up twice to get the proper distance. We want to go back again but only if we know the wind wont be as bad.
Birdie-fest for low handicapers.
Grand Niagara meanders through the Niagara countryside. The course is in excellent condition with fairways that are wide and fairly flat with no induced carries. The greens are protected by deep sand traps. The 11th hole is picturesque and an easy birdie for most golfers. It is a good test for the average golfer like myself but might be a little boring for a low handicaper. It is a long, beautiful, winding course, so get a cart. A bit expensive compared to other courses in the area and perhaps why the course was almost empty.
Great conditioning
Would definitely play this course again. The conditions were awesome, greens were smooth and played true.
This Course is Great !!!
The course is in GREAT Condition, greens are fast, fairways are in GREAT Condition. Pace of play was excellent, no waiting;. QWould highly recommend this course !!!!
Wonderful layout & course conditions, a Must-Play in Niagara region
Great course design with very thoughtful & challenging sight-lines; relatively open but with much bunkering & mounding that must be considered in shot-planning & targeting, and can be penal. Course maintenance & conditioning is exemplary, friendliness & helpfulness of staff is warm & genuine. Look forward to many return visits, and highly recommend this golf experience.
