Very scenic

Booked this last minute as I was passing through. Price very reasonable. Course layout was very easy to follow which was great since I tend to get lost on courses I’ve never played. Tees were well placed for different abilities. LOTS OF HIDDEN WATER! Only negative—pace of play was very slow. I skipped a couple of holes. Overall a very nice round!

Great round!

Greens were in excellent condition. Rolling fast and true. Played 18 in less than 3 hrs! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Grass is still coming in on the fairways, but not bad. Some traps had soft fluffy sand and some were more hard pan. Booked on golf now and was a good value IMO. Looking forward to.playing it again.

Nice Day at Lake Chesdin

Greens had just been punched but rolled OK. Tee boxes and fairways were starting to green up ( more so than a couple of other courses in the area that I usually play).

Lake Chesdin First-Timer

Got a nice $47 Hot Deal for a Weds, but due to rain, staff was very accommodating allowing us to shift a day later in the week. For December, the course was in great condition - tee-boxes, greens and fairways were very well-maintained. With the amount of rain the previous couple of days, we sincerely appreciated that it was 90 degree for carts, and NOT cart-path only. Only complaints were that the driving range was closed (due to wet conditions), and the grill/restaurant had no grab-n-go food like hotdogs or sandwiches at the turn. Also, snacks and drinks in the Pro Shop didn't seem to have any prices listed (pet peeve of mine). Otherwise, we plan to return in the early summer next year to see the course's true beauty.
