About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Selective
Course is in a cookie cutter community that only caters to the community. Course is out of Tucson, with an awesome and well cared for course. Unfortunately staff is not as inviting and friendly. Arrived 5 minutes late and was not able to play course. Most course accomodate in order to make the giest experience better, not here. Every visit has a negative perspective due to the staff. They cater very well to members of their community but dont care mych for outsiders!

Great course fairly busy good turn & overall ltime.
If traveling to golf there be aware no beverage cart or convenient place to purchase beverages. Water available on the course though.
Good Course.
Course in good shape. Greens rolled pretty good, but did not hold very good.
Played in the morning. Weather was cool. But this time of year, it was to be expected. Second 9 holes it had warmed up to where I played in a short sleeve shirt.
Awesome views great shape and very fun and challenging !
Nice Course
This was a well manicured course. Large open fairways to receive your drive. The rest was up to you. Nice staff.
Saddlebrooke
The course is very well groomed and the scenery is lovely. Enjoyed the round and pace of play.

Course, greens in excellent condition, foursome finished in 4hr-15minutes,. Perfect!
Really good shape.
The course is in great shape. Sand traps very well maintained.
Bad condition, Under repair
Golf course was under repair, but nobody says anything about that doing reservation process.
For example; Par 5 turned to par 3 hole, and some other hols are osmostranu unplayable.

We love playing the Ranch. The first and tenth holes were shortened to Par 3's kind of a bummer, but otherwise the course was great.
Arrogant staff - dishonest offer
There is no friendly welcome at this course. Today I was told they shouldn't really check us in. When I asked why he said we were too early and they didn't allow carts out more than 45 minutes before the tee time. There were probably 30 carts outside AND we were exactly 45 minutes before our tee time. Pure arrogance!
On top of that two par 5's were shortened to 100 yard par 3's. The tempory tee box looked like they had been used for some time without any adjustment. Most courses put a notice on Golfnow when there is unusual situations like airation. Not Saddlebrook Ranch., they didn't even mention it at checkin.
We like the course but it is a last resort choice.
Course being redesigned
I have played this course a few times and have always enjoyed playing it. Some of the holes are being redesigned this year making playing a full par 72 course into a "I don't know a par 68" I will say the greens are in great shape and I love putting on them.
