Great layout…same areas for big improvement

The layout of the course is great, many interesting, challenging holes. First gripe is out of the courses control, but waaaay too many people who play this course don’t repair their ball mark on the greens, leaving many looking like a lunar landscape. Other things need significant attention by the course ownership…1. The “ bunkers “ are in atrocious shape…nothing but wet, hard red clay, and 2. A number of the tee boxes are in poor condition. These have been issues for some time, but they could make this a really nice course with some attention given to these 2 issues.

6 Hour Rounds and Terrible Greens

If I could give this course negative stars I would. The absolute worst. First tee time out and finished 9 in an hour and a half, by the time we got to 10 there were 4 groups on the same hole with nowhere to push forward. Played 10 and 11 in 45 minutes then packed it up. Starters can’t manage a consistent flow and pace of play starting groups on all 3 nines with zero plans at the turn. Course over books every time slot and zero rangers to keep people moving. Course conditions are awful, mainly the greens. Save your money and play elsewhere

Too tricked up

I played the Legacy/Heritage combination and, while the course is attractive to look at, it is a bit too tricked up, in my opinion. Good tee shots end up in drainage "bowls," or even kick into trouble that one cannot see from the tee. Greens are mostly raised up, with plenty of traps. Trouble is, the traps are packed down dirt. Some greens are in poor shape, while others are decent. The pace of play was slow, surprising for a Friday morning.

Crowded, expensive and no sand in bunkers

We played on a Sunday, so having lots of people playing is normal, but it felt a bit over crowded. None of the bunkers were playable. All dirt and mud. The greens showed signs of heavy play. Might be worth $80 if the bunkers were decent and the place didn’t feel like a bee hive. Nice fairways and fun layout.

Fun and challenging layout

The greens and the tee boxes were a little beaten up but the rest of the course was in decent shape. A little pricey for the course conditions but we had a good time.

Course is good but could be better

Sand traps need sand and a couple of greens need attention, especially #2 on Legacy. Need to cut down a few trees to give that green more sun for grass growth. Overall, except for unrepaired ball marks the course is in very good shape. Worth a repeat visit.

Great course

Greens were recently punched so hard to rate them but overall course was in great shape. Fairways and rough were well trimmed and course layout offers some challenges and rewards. Really enjoyed my experience here and will be back often.

Underwhelmed

Greens were in pretty bad shape. Played Legacy and there were a lot of unrepaired ballmarks on the greens. Greens were also dead in many areas. Tee boxes, fairways, and rough were in decent shape though. Sand was as solid as concrete everywhere. The course could certainly benefit from new sand/bunkers.

Course Conditions

I wish something would be done about the sand traps, many of which are in horrible condition. Either fix them or fill them in and lay sod over them.

FIX YOUR DIVETS GOLFERS!!!!!

Love this links course. However, greens are riddled with so many divots that there is no way the course could keep up maintains them. Recommend giving out free divot-tools for the guys who don’t seem to care who’s playing behind them
