I was happy with the course and the lay out. It has a lot of chances to get birdies. The greens were in great shape and the fairways had a lot of grass even thought they were brown. I would play the course again and

recommend the course to everyone.

The course layout is a true challenge . I expected wet conditions but found the course truly playable. The par 5's are a great set of holes and worth the trip.

The course itself is outstanding. If you avoid most of the staff and their uppity behavior it would be a fine place to golf, but to give you an example of what to expect. I was asked how much i had paid online, as if that was any of his business. Before that took place, while I was warming up on the putting green another worker said only paying customers are allowed to use the practice greens, and the driving range is for members only. Needless to say I won't be going back.

Course is in great shape, beautiful course. Facilities and carts in great shape! Would like to see a few more hot deals.

Discounted rates are for the maintenance of the greens. They should have used temporary greens as they would have been better that what was there. I have played this course many times over the years and have never seen it in this bad of shape. Tee boxes were covered with branches and debris to the point where you had to move stuff just to tee off. Fairways were the same. I sincerely hope this course is not the next to go bankrupt in this area as it used to be the best around. The complete lack of maintenance is never a good sign.

Carolina Colours is a terrific golf course - it is a modern layout with a nice variety of holes. From long and straight to dogleg left/right, and challenging par 3's, the layout keeps the player engaged. Furthermore, the tee box options provide a good balance of challenge for all levels of play. My only criticism belongs in the lap of mother nature - she had played havoc with the bunkers after several days of heavy rain. Clearly, the maintenance staff cannot be responsible. Surprisingly the greens and fairways drained quickly and the course was playable when others in the area were cart path only. And, you have to see the long wooden bridge that winds through the swamp.

Playing Carolina Colours is a pleasant contrast between several other beautiful classic courses in the New Bern area. I highly recommend this course, but also suggest you try Harbour Point and Minnesott Beach.

Pretty wide open fairways. Greens were somewhat slow. Lots of recent rains had filled up the bunkers. Fun to play. I would say it's right in the middle. Not too difficult, but not super easy either.

I love the course. I would call it a hidden gem. It has something special on every hole.

Course is lovely to the eye. Everything was neat and in place. Greens were in great condition except very moist which made them very slow. Will play again when the course has a chance to dry out. The bunkers were like small ponds.

Since we had a bad rain a few days prior the bunkers where washed out and the greens where soft. Besides that can't wait to get out there again. Straight forward course fun to play.

Very challenging but fair. Conditions were perfect. One of the best courses in the area.

Very nice course. I like the layout. Not super challenging which was nice since I am still learning the game. Would definitely recommend this course and will come back again when I am back in the area. Greens were well maintained considering how dry the area is.

Played this course with two novice golfers (6 times per year players). We all enjoyed the course; a fair challenge with varying length holes. Will play it again!

This course continues to improve each year. I think it's a great idea that you pay $5 for the range rather than a small bag of balls that most other clubs offer. Very clean and fair prices in the pro shop.

This was the first time I've played colours this year and was impressed by the green speeds. The back nine fairways could have used a touch more grass and my ball landing in tire tracks down the fairway but other than that great experience. Couldn't have asked for a better day.

Greens were in nice shape but the fairways/rough were in terrible condition. It was hard pan throughout the whole course. I would hit balls in the fairway and a dust pile would go up in the air when it landed. The approach shots were coming in like knuckleballs due to the hardness of the ground. It had rained the day before. I love the layout of the course and the greens but not being confident in the fairway due to bad playing conditions kill the vibe.

I was surprised to see the course in such good condition considering all the rain we've had lately. The cart paths are smooth and the staff is very friendly. The pace of play was good. We enjoyed the day playing at a relaxing pace.

Although it was cold and conditions were wet, this is a very fine course and I would recommend it it anyone who enjoys a good round of golf.
