Hidden gem!

This course offers 5 tee boxes so everybody can play and be comfortable... The greens are awesome! The few houses that exist, sit way back off the holes so your not playing in peoples yards. I think it's the best course in New Bern, hands down!

Excellent course!

The course is excellent. This is probably one of the nicest courses in the area. It was a little slow but worth it.

Great First Impression

I normally play in Florida, so enjoyed the Carolina topography--especially the winding cart path through the swamp! I wanted to just sit there on the bridge and look out at the scenery--as for the golf, I liked the handicap info available for choosing the tees and I played gold for the first time--din't do too badly! Interesting and beautiful golf course.

A true gem in south New Bern

My wife and I had the pleasure of playing Carolina Colours recently, and were genuinely delighted with the combination of challenge and beauty incorporated in this tract. Many holes meander through dense wooded forest, providing the player with isolation from neighboring holes. The holes are well designed with multiple tee boxes to give players of varied ability an appropriate starting point. We were especially impressed with the par fives, which were beautifully designed, appealing to the eye, and providing a good challenge for the shot making of your game. The ninth hole is basically a straight away par five, but does require a carefully struck third shot as it is guarded by water on the left side, and any hooked shot will find the water. The eleventh hole is a double dog leg, par five that plays 543 from the Green tees, but is beautifully designed. Par 3's on this course are varied, with the sixth playing over 200 yards, while the 16th is a mere 120, each provide its own challenges however.
In short, this is a must play, if you are in the area. We were so impressed with it, that whenever we come here to visit friends, Carolina Colours will be on our agenda!

Very nice layout with great practice facility

Some of the fairways are tight because it's only 5 or 6 years old. But they are doing a great job with the course. Closed on Mondays.

Very good layout and great scenery.

The course is laid out through a development, yet the homes are not close to fairways, which is great. The fairways are wide
and you have six sets of tees to choose from. For a course that so young it is in very good shape. The bend grass greens are super to putt. The driving range is great with ample hitting stations and unlimited balls for one price. Two putting greens offer ample practice space. Overall, a great place to play golf.
And a very quiet place to play. The homes are set back and very seldom here anything but the wildlife.

Great Course For the Money

One of the best layouts in the area, along with the best greens. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food from the snack bar was unbelievably good. All around great place to bring your friends for a relaxing, enjoyable time on the course.

Great course, great value

The Bill Love layout is excellent (challenging and yet fair). With six sets of tees, it was easy to find a set of tees to make my round enjoyable. The condition of the course is amazing, considering the course is only 2 years old. I especially loved the bridges and the care that was put into protecting the natural environment within the golf course. Beautiful and memorable! The staff welcomed me when I arrived and took care of my every need while I was there. It was an enjoyable day and I will be back soon!

Great course - would play it again any day !

The greens are in great shape and trickier than they look. The staff is very friendly and while I was there they had a beginner sign up for what appeared to be an excellent Beginner Golf Academy. You really do feel that you have gotten away from it all when you play the back 9 as it backs up to a wilderness area. This is a new course and I can't wait to play it as it matures into an even better golfing experience.

Great layout - beautiful setting - wonderful greens

Really enjoy playing this new Bill Love course. The layout is strong and the bent grass greens roll true. The course, especially the back nine, sits in a pristine Costal Carolina setting. It offers a fun experience and, with six tee to choose from, can accommodate all levels of play. The greens are the best in the area. As the course matures, I believe it will be the best in the region.
