About
Situated on what used to be farmland and later used for shellrock mining, Osprey Point Golf Club is hardly recognizable from its former landscape. The Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County took the abandoned land in South County Regional Park that was completely overgrown and turned it into Florida's first Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course. To achieve this designation, the department instituted several environmental protection practices, increased the acres of natural habitat, and converted to more environmentally friendly grass on the tees, greens, and fairways. The golf course offers 27 holes that are played in three different combinations. The Falcon/Raven Course is one of the combinations. It has a rolling landscape that is enhanced by native vegetation and a playable quality thanks to five sets of tees.

Very Nice Course!!
For a county course, extremely nice layout and conditions. Fairways and greens in great shape. Fairways wide and receptive on most holes, though they throw in a few tight holes which makes for a more challenging course. Greens are slower than what they appear to be. Rangers should move slower groups to a faster pace. We will return!
A hidden gem in Palm Beach County
The course has always had great reviews. I booked a round with a coworker that plays. The friendly bag guys took our bags and directed us the the pro shop. The pro shop was in a trailer as they have construction on the original beautiful facility going on- no worries. I was here to play golf, not socialize. The proshop employees were efficient, fast and friendly. They checked our reservations and thanked us. We paid and the bag guys directed us towards the starter area. The starters were extremely nice and was able to gets us on 15 minutes early and join another twosome. Local knowledge was shared by the other players to make a great round better.
The course is laid out in western Palm Beach County. The wildlife and natural beauty is in full display. The course is very fair with most problems in full view. The conditions were superb, lush fairways and beautiful greens. I will definitely be back.

Best municipal course around
There are usually three 9 hole courses to choose from. One was closed but the Raven and Hawk were in excellent condition. Some narrow fairways. Out of bounds is very rough. A little short from the white tees but overall great experience. Coming back on Monday.
Our goal this summer is to not have anyone putt on aerated greens, so we are closing nine holes for a month each to do maintenance before moving to the next -- always leaving 18 holes of good greens! We look forward to seeing you again on Monday.
best public course under 40 dollars
there are 3. 9 hole courses and this was the first time I played the "Hawk" 9. Course is in great great shape and design is hard enough to challenge me and my son. it is a very popular but they do a good job of spacing out the tee times. Really friendly staff, and beverage cart on the weekends. they are redoing the golf shop and adding a Restaurant so it will be a little messy at the entrance but no problem with the golf

Challenging and fun
Three 9 hole courses and you play 2. Good experience. Greens were good, hard, and a little furry.
For a municipal course, everything was really good. Definitely a place we will repeat!!

Late start but good course!
9:33 tee time started at 10:10. 27 hole Course and rain from previous day had 9 holes closed which caused delayed start times. Best course we played during the vacation! Pace was good after we started. My only regret is that I can’t play it again tomorrow!
We appreciate your understanding on the delayed start. We got an unprecendented amount of rain in the month of May and we did our very best to still provide the best golfing experience possible to each of our guests. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
Best in Area
Boca is known for incredible private clubs, but Osprey is a public course that give you the conditions of a private club. My favorite course in south FL. Just love not seeing homes and run down condos surrounding a golf course. Fairways and areas around greens are immaculate. If you don't put it out of play, you are guaranteed a nice lie. I get the Frequent Players Card and this is the best course on there. I wish it was more reasonable during the winter months for us locals, but I will play it as much as possible spring/summer/fall.

Best around
Hard to find a public course in excellent condition. This is it. Also scoreable due to lack of greenside bunkers. The greens make up for that

Great track
Every time I am in Boca I make sure my visit includes at least one round at Osprey. The course is beautiful, well maintained and always a challenge. You cannot go wrong. Staff is helpful and rangers don’t interfere but provide assistance as needed.
