About
Located in South County Regional Park, Osprey Point Golf Club offers the first course in Florida to be designated as an Audubon International Classic Signature Golf Course. You would never be able to tell from looking at it now, but the site was farmland before it was used for shellrock mining and then abandoned. The landscape had been overgrown but the Parks and Rec Department of Palm Beach County transformed it into a lush and scenic course. The golf course is a 27-hole layout that can be played in three different 18-hole combinations. All of the tees, greens, and fairways feature environmentally friendly Seashore Paspalum. The Hawk/Falcom combination has a gently rolling landscape enhanced with native vegetation. The elevation changes are subtle but they still provide a few tricky lies.

Great Golf Course
Played 3 courses on a two day trip down to Ft. Lauderdale, Jacaranda West, Woodmont and Osprey Point. This course by far was the best course for the money and the best quality. Unfortunately, we were told by a staff member that if we teed off by 2:30 we would finish either and he made it seem like we would easily finish. We weren't even close! Only finished 13 holes. The pace of play was extremely slow. Besides that it's a challenging and well designed course. I will be back, just don't expect to play the round under 5 hours.

Great public course
3 nines of park-like golf in a great layout with lakes and nicely manicured greens and fairways.
Too crowded on the weekend with people who suck at golf and take too much time to hit the ball.
A treat if pace of play improves!

Osprey Keep it straight
This course is in great shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens. Most holes are quite tight so keep it on the fairway and you will score well. Spray it around and you will need a few sleeves of balls. Some great par 4 holes that make you think about your tee shot. Overall a fun course but book early so you can get a tee time!

great course, layout is fun and challenging, the yardage on the scorecard was not accurate to the tees we played - much shorter, conditions were excellent

Course is one we recommend but they should have told us the range would be closed for maintenance.
That was very disappointing.

We regularly perform maintenance on our driving range each Tuesday, which is why the range was closed when you visited. We apologize that this wasn't passed along to you in advance and will work with our staff to better communicate this fact with our golfers.

Customer service
The staff forced us to play with another golfer. We paid to play 18 holes and were unable to finish because of this. Also, a staff member was very rude. It is a 3 course layout and no one told us which course, so we asked the staff member and he acted like we should've known. Overall, this was a bad first impression to us.

Course was in fantastic shape and staff was very nice considering a new system that was not working very well.

Your visit with us coincided with the implementation of our new point-of-sale and booking system and we did experience a few bugs as the system was put in place the same week that Hurricane Matthew visited us. However, we are working diligently to smooth out any remaining bugs and hope that you will find the check-in process much smoother upon your next visit. Slow expensive
Very slow pace, not a whole lot of bang for your buck

We encourage a 4:15 pace of play from all of golfers and have marshals that work to maintain this pace. Unfortunately, it sounds like the you visited on a day when the system did not work properly and we apologize.
One of the best public courses in the area
Gorgeous course on the edge of the Everglades. In great shape and a fun layout. 3 different 9-hole courses to choose from all of which are great. Had a 4:30 tee time and easily finished our round.

Very high quality public course
I play 90% of my rounds on private courses. I had reason to travel yesterday and played Osprey Point for the first time. It was a very, very nice public course experience. Greens were fast and true. Some of the approach shots were a fun challenge. I will definitely come back.

Great condition
Bag drop boys unfriendly at drop off and collection however otherwise well organised well marshalled however we did feel rushed but made the 4hr round limit
