About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole layout that has hosted the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments as well as numerous other events since it first opened in 1928. The course is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Players, and Baer. Each course has a different character but one characteristic they all have is the undulating terrain. All three golf courses also boast well manicured tees, greens, and fairways. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Tournament/Players course features the most water of the three combinations. The par-4 fifth hole on the Tournament nine has a particularly tricky forced carry over a large pond. In addition to the golf courses, Schaumburg has a practice facility that includes a driving range and two putting greens.

What a great course, well maintained, beautifully landscaped and they have excellent GPS carts, walkable too if it wasnt 96 out. Played tournament/Baer combo. Greens rolled true. Should have played tips as it was a tad short for a 4 handicap but who doesn’t need and ego round every now and then Friendly staff even after hosting a huge tourney.
I’d recommend as it’s very enjoyable

One of the best municipal courses nearby
Beautiful course thats extremely well maintained. A regular go to for me and my friends. Price is on the higher end with a cart, but it's on par with other courses. Would definitely recommend for everyone
Best Public Course in the Area
Schaumburg golf club is in pristine condition for early in the season. The tee boxes are soft, clean, level. Fairways are as well. Greens are tricky and fast. With tough pin positions. Driving range when its grass is cut very well just like the fairways. It's not a very long course even from tips, no matter what pair of nines you play. All carts are equipped with GPS and are newish. If you're a resident the rates for us are pretty good for how well the golf facility is. Highly Recommend to play. The nicest course around the surrounding cities

Course is in nice shape. Greens are fast. Short Course but fun for a quick round.
