A little gem
Played this course for the first time today. Limited clubhouse facilities because of the pandemic but the club pro couldn't be more helpful. All of the holes had a bit of character about them, with 17th and 18th very picturesque. The biggest bonus was that the greens were some of the best I have EVER played on . Will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.
Very nice course.
Played Arscott for the first time with a few friends and have to say it’s a really nice course. The rough is rough enough not to want to be in there but is also forgiving enough to find stray balls and have a chance to recover. Having said that, the course is diverse in its lay out and presents a range of challenges to make it interesting and keep you thinking. We often questioned why a couple of the par 4s weren’t 5s. The 18th is a picture of a hole and a real challenge. Second shot is over water, 2 trees and green is elevated, a lot. Walking off that with a par 4 was the highlight of my day.
Each hole is well looked after and the greens are a nice size. Colour coded flags inform the more accurate golfer of pin depth on the greens.
There is a small driving range short game practice area and practice putting green that isn’t mentioned on the website.
Only down side was a couple of small puddles and soggy ground, but there had been some heavy overnight rain. So is inevitable.
A little gem
Arscott is the type of course I certainly would consider joining if I lived a little nearer, there was a relaxed atmosphere, the course was interesting and varied in the type of challenge the holes offered, the only minor gripe was that we got stuck behind a society but on another day it would have been perfect
Great value for money
A course local to me but never played it until recently. Used the Golf Bow to get 2 very good deals at £13 and £12 each. Would highly recommend it and will use it again if I can get the same deal
Slow play ruined round
After 4 hours and 10 minutes we reached the 15th tee where there were two groups already waiting so we decided to not finish as a six hour round was not in our plans. Shame as as otherwise it's a decent track but don't think we saw the best holes.
A good days golf
This course is a beautiful parkland course with some testing holes. I am sure the novice golfer could navigate this course and the low handicapper can indeed find it challenging. On my day the course was practically empty and didn't see another golfer until the 15th! Real millionaires golf. Great! The golf pro and the bar staff were really friendly and helpful and although they were not busy, took time to cater for all my needs. A great day golfing and I will definitely be returning

Tricky 18th hole
Pleased how easy it was to use the Teeoftimes website.
Most enjoyable round at Arscott Golf Club. Friendly and helpful staff and club members.
The course was in good condition and we found the course interesting and some holes challenging enough to entice us back to play the course again in the future.
Great
Loved the course had a great day looking forward to going again proper little gem of a course
Enjoyable round of golf!
Played this course for the first time and throughly enjoyed the challenge and the great views!! Friendly staff in the club shop. Looking to book the next the round as soon as possible!
Pleasant tree-lined parkland course
A pleasant 18-hole parkland course set in gentle hills with some lovely views. The course is fairly open although most holes are tree-lined. A few straight-forward holes with one or two quirky ones to keep it interesting. Not a particularly challenging course, but worth a play if you're in the Shrewsbury area and looking for an enjoyable day out.
Great views
Lovely rural course just outside Shrewsbury. The last 4 holes are excellent and the views are magnificent.
