Barlaston Golf Club

There’s only two things I don’t like about playing here and it’s that the ball cleaners never have water in them the past two times I’ve been they have been bone dry and the bunkers have been rock solid other than that it’s such a good course greens and fairways are kept pristine. Good selection of beers and ciders. Staff are friendly especially the woman who works in the pro shop.

Brilliant course. One of if not the best rounds of golf we have played. Loved the layout. Can't wait to visit again.

A must visit, a course for low and high handicappers. The fairways were lush and the green manicured. this was our second visit and will not be our last. Staff extremally helpful and friendly. Truly a great course to play.

Thanks to the Pro who even though he intended to pair us with another two strangers on the the Golf Now booking let us shoot off early on our own.

Having played here a number of times, winter normally doesn't help the course but with the use of fairway mats the green staff have focused elsewhere, always loved the layout and it really is a challenge at times. Looking forward to the new tee boxes as was off mats until 3rd April, £25 is fair cost for a great course! I will be back next time as a possible member! :)

8 minute start times killing speed of play and therefore course enjoyment. Queues on every tee. Not acceptable on a Tuesday afternoon. Also why are they still playing off mats on fairways and rough???

Took a mate for the first time. Really enjoyed it as we had a late tee time and knew we wouldn't get 18 holes in. Parking was easy (as usual). No wait to tee off, course was in great condition for the time of year and we weren't held up. 16 holes between 3.30 and 6.15 and paid £13 each..can't complain at all! Thank you

This course is top notch in summer but with it been winter and by the river Trent just little spongy on fair ways and the greens are prepared for next year now this course will be banging next year

Lovely little course interesting holes and have to think your way round not just smash driver everywhere. Condition was immaculate greens and fairways very nice course will definitely play here again .

Well cared for course and beautiful scenery. The course is challenging whilst not overly difficult. Other players on the course were very respectful and staff both before and after were very helpful and friendly. All in all a brilliant day out. Definitely will be back 10/10

This course we really love playing it ,a challenging course and greens are superb that ball checked on green so you can actually go for flag look forward to playing it again

Quite a difficult course for beginners but lovely surroundings so well worth it.

The pace of play was really poor.

At one point there was 3 groups in front of us on the tee boxes.

Tee box conditions poor and some greens were poorly looked after by players, i.e lots of pitch marks not repaired which made condition generally poor.

There was also a group on the course which were playing as a 7 ball which caused issues.
