Great course

Staff are friendly

Course is in very good condition

Not a course to blast you have to think and play your way around

Played a course up the road last (greenway)week and this is in far better condition

Same price wouldn’t ever use greenway again

Impressive improvements

I’ve played the course as a visitor over the past ten years and have always enjoyed it. The recent improvements done to the course have really enhanced the already good experience.

Shocking on course members

Teed off 5pm on a Friday, absolutely shocking pace of play.

We were a two ball, 4 ball in front playing terrible, all over the place, often only 50yards off the tee in long grass etc looking for balls etc and absolutely no intention of letting us through.

Constantly standing around waiting to hit as they were just in front of us. As they walked off tees we eventually politely asked if we could play through to be told ‘No- we are in a competition’ 😳😳

Seriously - so arrogant and rude- think they need to be reminded of golf etiquette and rules re slow play.. Chasing the light as a night game and had to leave the course

as took too long and while experience ruined.

On top of that - pro shop shut so couldn’t get drinks or a snack as went straight from work, so we went in the clubhouse to get food of any description as we arrived early- but they had an NHS event on. So they could serve us nothing at all so a bag of crisps it was !!

All round bad night out.. mainly ruined by the idiots in front of us 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🙈🙈

Great course

Some work to the tee boxes when I played but given the weather this year the course was in great condition, enjoyed my round and will definitely be back

Wet weather
Walked

Ok but not the best.

admittedly the weather wasn't great but on a lot of holes you could not distinguish between the light rough and fairways.

Greens not in the best conditions and some are very small.

When it started raining the drainage in all areas was poor. I would advise to check the weather before you play.

Not sure its worth the £30 grren fee but that seems the going rate these days.

Lovely course.

Our tee time was after 10am. When we arrived the only opportunity for a hot drink was in the pro shop from a machine. The bar area was closed and dark with no indication of where to get a drink.

As a lady golfer I was disappointed that ladies are not really catered for in the choice of clothing etc, just the pre loved rail in the ladies locker room. I felt that it was very much geared toward the male golfer eg (man cave)?.

Lovely course and well looked after.

Well worth it

A shorter course but more than makes up for it with a really interesting layout. Challenges to every hole, shot selection is key here!

Also a couple of nice drivable par 4s if you’ve got it in you…

Very hilly and fount it very difficult to play

This course is extremely hilly, I’m a fit 26 year old and was very tired after walking the course, didn’t have the best of games, fount the course very hard to play, wouldn’t recommended for a high handicapper
