first time on this course. My friends thought the first few holes tight and difficult and certainly the second 9 gets easier - although I played better on the first 9. Found other golfers friendly and the lad in the bar made us some cracking sandwiches. Would certainly like to go back again.

I cannot fault this course, absolutely fantastic condition. The greens were excellent and at the same pace. Fairways and rough were very good. This course makes you think and also allows you to have a good hit with the driver if you pick the correct hole. The only let down was, yet again, no food available in the club house.

Loved the course really well laid out and some holes when you really have to think about your next shot will defo play here again soon.

Really enjoyed my round at barlaston, the course was in great condition. Particularly enjoyed the 9th hole.... stunning tee off position. It also helped that the weather was decent for a change...Defiantly would recommend this course to anyone coming to the area.

This is our chosen course for the weekly 9 hole four-ball after work.

Interesting layout with water directly in play on various holes, not the longest course but the greens are well protected.

Short par 3's and the dog leg ’swampy' 7th is my personal favourite.

Greens are a 7/10

Fairways 7/10

Tees 4/10

Downside are the power cables and pylons that come into play on several holes.

Short practice area (@ 200 yds) and putting green.

Great bar and friendly staff, small car park with additional gravelled parking.

Well worth 18 holes if you get chance as prices are great too!

Excellent course in very good condition. Staff very friendly and helpful. Other golfers (presumably members) are also friendly and welcoming. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Would thouroughly recommend it.

Very pleasant round. As a learner golfer the course was quite challenging due to the water hazards but I'd visit again. I thought the greens in particular were excellent and consistently paced despite dampish conditions.

Played with my son, just over 3 hours for a really enjoyable round of golf. Course in really condition. Very good food in the clubhouse after, staff very friendly! Will be booking again soon.

Not overly long and some holes a bit quirky

But staff and members very friendly and courteous

Course in great condition greens smiooth and true if a little slow

Would recommend it to anyone

Played quite a few different courses lately,but this is the best by far!Greens and fairways in good condition,would definitely play here again.

Friendly members, in good condition and a fair test of golf for mid handicappers

First time around the course and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day out! Admittedly, I could have played better but could not fault the course or the staff. Can't wait to play again.... see if I can fare better with #7!

Course excellent again

Got told i couldnt play cause i wasnt wearing a collar, but had a golf jumper/golf trousers n shoes on,.

Find this petty as most shops now sell golf t- shirts like what the pro's wear on the tour,

I had to wear my waterproof jacket zipped up just to play around, really need look at what golf clothes are on the market
