Fantastic Birthday

Course is in great condition for the time of year. The greens were probably among the best we have played this year. Really friendly staff. Highly recommend giving it a try

Some nice holes

Disappointed as only 11 holes open and it bit miss mash where to go. We have played this course quite a few times and can't fault it in the past but this was a disappointing visit.

Unfriendly

Arrived for tee time. Club house shut. Club representative eventually answered and was hugely unfriendly, demanding what we were doing here. Kept saying he didn't understand how we booked. Unable to play due to seniors morning. Eventually he unwillingly let us play from the 10th. Poor condition. When we went to start first 9 after completing back

9, queue of 8 senior pairings/four balls on the first. Wouldn't let us play. Had to go home. Extremely disappointed. Communication between yourselves and this club non existent. Hope you can provide some form of compensation.

Regards

Rohan

Interesting course

First visit to Barlaston. We really enjoyed the day Course isn't long but has some tricky holes. Lots of water to deal with! Recommend for all handicaps.

Work to greens

Groundsmen were carrying out work to greens so unable to play those holes. Other courses that I have played where this type of work is taking place, generally, allow you to play the holes or there is some communication, whilst the work is carried out. Not here.

An enjoyable round

An interesting course with some very pretty holes. Not the longest of courses, but challenging in its own right making the average golfer think about their shot selection.

Easy to walk and quick, until we got behind a few 4 balls and the pace slowed to a crawl..

A convenient course just off Junc 15 of M6. Definitely worth the greenfee!
