Great value round of golf
I was fortunate to play on a lovely sunny day - always a bonus. Course provides an easy start with a short par 4 opening hole (4 iron/PW) followed by a short par 3 - so 2 or3 full shots to get your swing going. Easy walking for the most part with no serious uphills to navigate.
Very pleasant track, Fairways and greens in great condition. Great value for money via GolfNow. Somewhat spoiled scenically by the large voltage electricity pylons running straight through the middle of the course but lots to like on this course with a few noteworthy holes (Old Swampy index 1 is a beaut).

Slow play
Unfortunately the killer of all fun on a course is slow play. We were a 3 ball of average golfers, but stuck behind a 4 ball who took very long to complete their round. It took us 4 and a half hours to complete our round.
Pretty features
Not the longest course but challenging with water on most holes. Very good condition and a nice looking golf course. The round took just over 3 hours but felt slow at times.
Little gem
What a beautiful course... Played in the red hot sun and this course soaked it up!! Greens perfect, fairways luch. Very good selection of very testing holes. Don't let the first par four lull you into thinking this is going to be easy... Then don't let second hole par three think they will be all as simple... Big hitters beware.... Some interesting blind tee shot will punish those that blast the driver.. Course management essential... Plot yourself around the first time here... When you come back.... And you will.... You will have more understanding of just what club you can hit.... The only downside is that today play was a little on the slow side... But boy what a lovely course to be held up on
Excellent given the weather
The course has suffered heavy rainfall, but they have created two temporary holes. Still very pristine and have played many times through the winter. Certainly a challenge to play due to the course management required. A real friendly bunch and a warm atmosphere.
Thought provoking course
Course needs good course management to keep out of trouble. Great layout too; good green keepers keep this course in tip top condition. Very helpful in the pro shop too with a friendly 19th hole to finish.
