Millionaires Golf

Teed off at 15:30, the course was empty which made the round extremely enjoyable.

The Derby is a forgiving course which, if you've been beaten up by the Brabazon, is a great course to play. It's not long but you need to put the ball in the right place to make a score. The greens were in good condition and ran true..

The staff were very cheerful and very helpful..

An enjoyable round and great value.

Derby course the Belfry.

Course was in poor condition, greens were shocking. A place like the Belfry should have a course fit and in good condition for the amount of money you take for playing not good enough in my view.

Very good round, played a 2 ball which I thought was the correct amount, a 4 ball may slow the round too much, overall a very pleasant day.

Lovely course alongside two beauties

There is only one downside, and that’s the quests who play it! Loads of pitch markers and divots that don’t get repaired or replaced. Ground staff do a great job, greens are great, fast and true. Wide fairways but if you wander!!!

Derby Course Review

Nice course at Belfry but gave up after 13 holes due to incredible slow play, waiting on the tee for up to 10 mins on most holes so not enjoyable.

Shame, as staff course and amenities good but obviously over selling the course and not checking handicap certificates which slowed things down badly.

Another great round

My 2nd time playing the Derby course and the course knowledge really helped with shot selection from the tee where accuracy is rewarded. The course overall was in really good condition after the constant rain for the previous week, despite a few fairway bunkers still having standing water - just shows how well the rest of the course is maintained. Greens were receptive, had some break to them although being on the slow side but it's a real shame a lack of players repair their pitch-marks on and around the greens, causing some putts to bobble badly. Overall though a fantastic day out on a brilliant course and will definitely be playing again in the near future.

Nicely laid out with some challenging holes. Good condition considering only just opened after COVID-19.

Derby April 2020

Great day - layout great. Greens need a cut and rolling, front 9 especially bad, back 9 better, but having played the PGA the week before the greens on the derby need some tlc, but a very nice round

Good value

Have not played the Derby before, and it was good value at £30 for a Sunday early afternoon tee time. Nice simple course not too long. Not kept in same condition as PGA National or Brabazon by any means, more comparable with a municipal course in terms of condition of greens and fairways but it was perfect for what we wanted, a first round out for around 3 years. Course slowed around hole 10 and by hole 13 we were waiting longer and longer to play every shot so we called it a day. No fault of the course. Staff very friendly, enjoyable afternoon.

Not worth it

The greens are some of the worst I have played on. They have huge divots taken out of them. it looks like there was a disease on it and they have killed whatever it was off but all is left now is hundreds of bare patches amongst the grass on the greens. It's impossible to putt on and ruins what could be an OK course.

Not as good as it used to be

The greens are terrible, looks like someone has been doing chipping practice on them. Other than that it’s an OK course, definitely not worth £30 in its current condition

Good value for money

For £30 it's a decent course, but would recommend only playing in a 4 ball as it is slow
