Good course well maintained with great greens

The only thing that spoils the experience is the incessant idea that you must bunch people together to get the maximum amount of people out at one time thus making it a corporate money well rather than making it an enjoyable day

( you never know what handicaps of the other players your grouped with ) thus evoking slow play

and a general frustration when playing with 20+ handicapper’s

Quite obvious, you play the derby course and you are paying for the belfry name and not much else. The course was flat, short and featureless. You can play far better courses for half the price. The greens were in good condition and the amenities are good quality, but overall below expectations.

Got the round for only £20 which was a bargain as the course was in great condition, especially the greens. £50 for a buggy was expensive as were the drinks at the bar but as expected for the Belfry and worth it for the surroundings.

A very enjoyable day from the moment we booked in, shuttle bus drivers were very friendly and helpful with many tips on the courses. The Derby course played very well even with this very dry conditions, greens were very well maintained and very fast at times, bringing great challenges. Would recommend going back there and we will at some point

First time at the belfry and I will definitely be coming back soon, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the course was in v.good condition, had to hire golf club which was easy and the clubs were in excellent condition and newish models

We foolishly played here at the hottest point of the hottest day on record, we got round the first 8 holes in an hour and 25 minutes but then got stuck behind a society group of 40 which meant it took us over 4 hours to play the last 10 holes which was a long time in 38° heat. The course was immaculately kept and staff were brilliant and attentive.
