Bentham Golf Club

Our Society played here for the first time. The course, and the clubhouse are very impressive, the views are spectacular.

There isn't anything to fault, except the bar closes early 7pm.

We first saw Bentham on Golf Mates and decided we wanted to visit as part of our family golf trip. It’s a beautiful scenic course, with views towards the three peaks. The course is exceptionally well maintained with diamond cut fairways and immaculate greens. Lots of variety and different challenges to think about. Quite hilly in places and very windy when we played. Super little driving range for a warm up, can pay contactless at the machine. £6.50 for 100 balls when we visited. We have now been three times and will no doubt be back again when we can. Would be great if the lodge stays including golf and we would then certainly become regular visitors.

Played this today and what a great round! class conditions and great layout! Definitely recommend with some great views walking around, up there with the best played.

Really enjoyed our day out at Bentham, course was in good condition despite the recent heat wave. Only downside was the lack of hot food during the week.

14 of us played here as the last leg of our tour and we couldn't have finished on a higher note. The welcome, food and all off course facilities were terrific but the star is the golf course. Wonderful condition, interesting holes, great greens, fairways to die for... thank you for a brilliant day. We will be back!

Great course and facilities set in beautiful countryside. Highly recommended.

I read a few good reviews about this course and was disappointed!

A hidden gem bit off the beaten track probably why, fantastic setting, very much up hill down Dale, but they have buggy for hire for those that struggle to walk it.

Fairways immaculate, greens not the fastest but given tge location can understand why.

Small but well stocked Pro shop, wonderful clubhouse with lovely staff.

Should be played from May - Sept to experience the best conditions.

A cold drink after a round sat on the veranda makes for an amazing experience.

A must if your are passing by or can commute ( I drove 2hrs to get here)

Played Bentham today in a 3 ball and the course was in great condition. Course quite busy but never felt crowded or rushed.

The course was in great condition the only downside was the greens a little slow.

Definitely play it again this summer, the staff very friendly on the course and in the club house.

Great layout and a bargain at £15. Whole course to myself. Greens id imagine will be top class in the summer but had been dressed when I played. To be expected at this time of year. Interesting layout out and plenty of room. Would definitely return

Well worth the hours drive! Enjoyable course and the conditions were fantastic for the time of year.. definitely be visiting again soon for golf and the chocolate orange cake! 🤣

Played on a mid Feb day, course was in decent condition for the time of year. Greens had been tined and played fine, bunkers were very good for the time of year. Played off mats all round the course but tbh this is probably a good thing and the fairways look in good condition for when the season starts. At £10 you can’t go wrong. Shame there is no food but the Black Bull in Bentham were doing lunches for £7!
