A gem of a place wish it was closer as I would join in a heartbeat !!

Staff and facilities were excellent pace of play was horrendous. The core seems in its infancy of being developed. Will be wet in Winter.

greens were poor when we played due to spiking and top dressing, but have been told they are normally excellant.

Hadn’t played the course for quite a while as it is quite a distance away from where we live.didn’t disappoint club is very friendly with an excellent layout of holes.it was in excellent condition with great views.great value for money and would play it a lot more if lived nearer strongly recommend it thanks for a good day out.

Quite hilly on some holes but very well set out with fantastic views of the North Yorkshire countryside. The wet weather throughout July and August has taken its toll and the long grass especially the rough and semi rough is punishing for middle to high handicappers. Greens were excellent. Only complaint was the noise!!. Construction vehicles ie diggers trucks, and service vans to the many lodges around the course plus the green keepers were mowing right behind us on several holes. I’m sure on a weekend the course is much quieter though.,

U can literally hear a pin drop on the course lovely views of surrounding areas everywhere u look greens was amazing although soft and wet after heavy rain were still fast would recomend only paid £20 would have happily paid £35 really enjoyed by a mixed ability golfers

Enjoyable visit with friendly greenstaff. Course was in excellent condition and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.

Brilliant golf course, one of the best maintained courses I have come across, paths alongside every fairway, brilliant greens. Course is hilly but with its location I expected that, all round fantastic course would definately recommend

Even on a windy day I really enjoyed our fourball. Course is in good condition, with some lovely picturesque holes and some challenging holes particularly the ones more open to the elements.

Would definitely recommend playing and there are some excellent deals at different times of day, making it great value for money compared to similar standard courses in the area.
