Nice course which is well maintained and nicely laid out.
Firm on the fairways and greens

Greens in superb and quick condition staff friendly and knowledgeable unfortunately no beer in the clubhouse! NICE ONE BORIS!!
Fairly tight
A fairly tight parkland par 70 some lengthy par 4's think 1 or 2 of these would be better suited if made in to par 5's
decent greens although small and quite firm making them tricky to hold but overall a decent course which offers a good test especially on a windy day.
Great value
Paid £16 for hotdeal probably worth £10 more than that!

Definitely will return
A nice well kept course, friendly people both on and off the course. The course cancelled our booking with GolfNow due to members only but GolfNow did not cancel with us, the course bent over backwards to help us and let us play.

OK, I appreciate the phrase hidden gem is a little over used but on a bright sunny October day to find this little track was a real joy. Not long but quite clever with a fair number of great risk reward opportunities, cunning dog legs and you will need to move the ball both ways if you are going to score low. Greens were in great shape... soft but true and the members have clearly got to grips with repairing pitch marks which is also nice. Can't wait to come back... now I know where to hit it! Well done Birstall.
Good pace course, has some bad features
Course is very bumpy on the fairway.

I took 3 other players to this course and we all had a great day, course is in fantastic condition & the greens were very true.
All the clubhouse staff were very friendly and helpful. In fact 2 of the group are thinking of joining the club that's how impressed they were.
Good value day out
First experience of a relatively local course. Greens in nice condition but fairways had a lot of debris (leaves/logs/branches) on them from the recent windy weather and the length of grass on the fairways was a bit long. Balls were difficult to locate on the fairways and the greens staff could have been out earlier with blowers if too wet to cut the fairways. But overall a nice course and would play again in the future.
Interesting layout
Very good course in great condition with tree lined fairways.Greens were well watered and flat considering the 30°+ temperature.The course was very interesting in its layout and will definitely be returning.
