Just a nice water hazard to get over Photo submitted by Uz276GW53QTNlHsllAIs on 04/15/2021
A great challenge
First time around Bletchingley and I was very pleasantly surprised. Great challenge for golfers of all levels. A beautiful walk through a lovely parkland course (lots of hills made for good exercise)
Only complaint was the greens were dreadfully slow. But, some of them are so steep, if they were too quick you wouldn’t stay on!
I will most definitely be back soon! May even consider membership.
If you're looking for a course that will test your game, has some really scenic holes, an excellent and friendly clubhouse, as well as provide a bit of a workout, then Bletchingley ticks the boxes. It really is a lovely course, but flat it isn't, which is something to consider if you have issues with climbs.
The tees, fairways and greens were all in really great condition when I played it today, although the bunkers don't have a lot of sand in them (probably the one fault I can think of).
It certainly isn't an easy course, and if the bunkers, ponds and trees don't get you, some of the holes are fairly lengthy too. It's certainly worth playing though.
A Little gem
A very interesting course with an excellent variety of holes which really make you think your way around.
Will be returning
Lovely course with great character
I used to be a member here 10 years ago and forgot how interesting the course is. Some holes have real character and you definitely need to consider your ball position.
Tee boxes were in good condition, fairways well maintained, but the greens were slow and fluffy. To be expected as the course has been crying out for rain, so need to protect them.
Other nice thing is their halfway house. Not only was it open (big tick), but great selection of snacks and beer on tap...if you fancy it.
All-in-all, lovely course and great to reminisce. Try it!
Breezy Bletchingley
Not the first time I've played here, very nice course in good condition.
I was in a 3 ball & all other groups were 4 balls so it was a little slow going round. Suppose expected as was a Sunday.
Bletchingley
Played after a long dry spell of weather, course in good general condition, only disappointment was that 5/6 mats were in play. But overall well worth playing.
A lovely course
This is a lovely course with some challenging holes. With the warmer weather, the course and walkways have dried out nicely. There are still a couple of mats when teeing off but it looks like the grass tee areas will be ready any day now. Overall, a course I would definitely recommend.
A great course in good condition
Played it before, always when dry - course was in good shape with many interesting holes. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. Deffo recommend and will return.

Good layout, fairways in good condition. Need to put the ball in the right places off the tee
Interesting challenge
Really challenging round - greens were an issue but nice course which asked a few questions
Would definitely return
Great for society
A super course played with a mate but put with two other people which we did not mind as booked online after loved so much will be booking a society soon
Should not have been open
Maybe we were unlucky but very simply, this course should not have been open and they should not of accepted our booking.
I understand being off matts on every tee and the greens were good (Once you got there) but the fairways where appalling you could not distinguish the difference between the rough and the fairway. It was like walking in
a bog. We walked off after 9 holes. Very disappointing
Good for trying a different course
Reasonable course with some good holes. Good to have a game when you want a change from your own course. Would go there again.
