Breadsall Priory Golf & Country Club - Priory Course

Soggy, boggy grounds leading to bogeys, double and triple bogeys.

I am sure it a very good course to play in good weather.

I have played this course a numerous occasions in the past, but was a little disappointed on this occasion, as the greens and approaches although a reasonable speed, were overly firm, verging on concrete like, with very hard bounces and not easily accepting of a higher shot onto them, shame really as it did spoil the enjoyment a little, perhaps a little more use of the sprinklers would help.

The layout and design of the course is excellent, especially the back 9. A good challenge for a golfer with a handicap of 5 to 25.

Great lush green fairways for the time of year.

I played as a one ball and was let through by two other groups.

The greens were a little slow as the green keepers have obviously protected them during this recent hot weather by leaving them a little longer.

Overall impressed by the fantastic condition.

Course is in OK condition. Greens super slow however. Most annoying and what spoult tge round was one greenkeeper who was pretty much on every hole we played. Rude ignorant and we had to wait whilst he mowed - surely he could have gone out well agead of the forst groups as he certainly slowed down the pace of play thus slowing down the pace of play for the whole day.

Excellent time course was in great condition played the priory definitely going back again.

Played the course in lovely weather for the time of year. Course in great condition although we could only play to hole 14 so played 11 through 14 again ( we were told this in the club shop and could have played the starting holes again).

Bunkers well maintained with soft sands and greens in great condition although a couple of holes were on temporary greens but that is to be expected this time of year.

Club shop welcoming and all round great facilities. Definitely will play again soon.

This course is the best I've ever played. For the time of year aswell. The course was amazing condition and not got one fault about it for me. Some smashing holes. If u haven't played here. Go and play it you will love it.

Rang me when I was pulling up in the car park to tell me that they were closed due to poor conditions told to try a course up the road. After receiving the call I checked to see if they were still taking book for today the 11/2/2018 and they were really bad service avoid!!

Played this for the 2nd time and was not disappointed it was in great condition even after all the rain. We had no one in front of us and no one chasing us round very enjoyable.

Good reception in professional shop friendly and amenable will definitely play there again and tell my mates
