Ormonde Fields Golf Club

Three of us played this yesterday after the heavy ( much needed rain )

Tough designed course with lots of doglegs and undulating ground .

Only flaws from us first timers was lack of marker posts . And some of the par threes are just totally unreachable

First of all let’s just tell golfers like us how HILLY the Course is from the 1st tee to the last tee it’s hilly but the pro in the shop was friendly and let us go early brilliant the course it’s self was dry as everywhere else is at the moment fairways good length of grass the greens were very good we felt abit rushed as we had a 4 ball of young ones playing right behind us which we let thru by the 14th tee all together nice place nice greens just be nice to how hilly this course was as when in ya 50s and u have a trolley in 30 degree weather god we were tired

Course was fab in places, greens were kept well but fast on some for saying we've had no rain for ages. Tee'd off at 4pm nice time as not very crowded. And a nice,cheap pint of Lager after at clubhouse.

Ormonde Fields Golf Club is an absolute gem. From the moment you arrive, you're made to feel welcome by the friendly staff, and the whole club has a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.

The course itself is always presented to a fantastic standard. Every hole offers something different, making you think your way around rather than just reaching for the driver. The layout is challenging but fair, with excellent greens and beautifully maintained fairways that make every round a pleasure.

If you're looking for a course that's excellent value, beautifully kept, and genuinely enjoyable to play, Ormonde Fields should be at the top of your list. I'll definitely be back and would recommend it to any golfer, whatever their handicap. ⛳

I have played this course several times. With the weather being ideal of late, the general condition I thought was excellent.

Lovely course in great condition, good fairways and greens. Superb value for money especially before 8am.

Lovely course and gorgeous surroundings. Don’t play it as we want it to ourselves.

Lovely laid out course, fantastic views. Nice bar & food area, also driving range now added with Trackman.

This is a challenging course, lots of hills, some narrow holes, but thoroughly enjoyable and quite pretty. It's relatively unforgiving but great valuem

Course was very boggy and there hasnt been much bad weather recently will definitely play again in the summer

Lovely long course and staff was very friendly. My friends and I had a great time and the course was good condition considering the recent weather.

Nice course, some very tight fairways, greens fantastic.

Good value for money

The weather made the course play very dry but even so it was in good nick. The greens were very well kept and were very true. Nice layout with plenty of variations. I enjoyed the round. And would recommend anyone who is thinking of playing to go for it

Early start. Course in fantastic condition. 3hrs 30 for a 2 ball. For £15, really good value for money. Did not try the food as last time I visited it was not the best.
