Bungay & Waveney Golf Club

Played here for the first time. £25 after 3pm price. Personally wouldn’t pay the £40 morning price for this course. Staff in the pro shop were very helpful, gave us a course map (which was needed) and pointed us in the right direction. The course is not particularly long but has several blind shots so prior knowledge of the course is definitely an advantage. Signage to next tee could be better but we managed to find our way round. There were a couple of times where when playing our 2nd shots we weren’t sure which flag we were going for so had to refer to the map. Fairways were very dry but greens were in fantastic conditions. Lots of interesting tricky holes, and bunkers to avoid. Wind spoilt it for us slightly ! Would go here again but only for the after 3pm £25 price

The course was great with the fairways in a very good condition and the greens were a nice pace as well considering the weather we have had recently.

Could not fault anything about the course and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Played the course for the first time today, and I can safely say it won’t be my last.

The only negatives I have is it was a bit slow going in terms of pace of play. And some holes cross over which I’m not keen on.

Such a enjoyable day.

Started when we arrived and the lady in the pro shop was very welcoming and polite.

We then played 18 holes, the fairways are in great condition. The rough is challenging but fair.

Special mention for the greens. Arguable the best greens me and my dad have ever played on.

Finished the round with a drink in the clubhouse with even more welcoming staff.

Strongly recommended playing this course.

Nice course and conditions was good... Pace of play was horrific... Over 4 hours for 2 of us to do 18 holes where normally be done in a max of 3 hours..

Can't fault the staff or the friendly members stuck behind us.. (there was alot of them equally all getting frustrated too..

The shop had some nice clothes which I was planning on buying but couldn't as it was closing as we finished our round just after 5

Greens and tees in excellent condition despite hot weather

Played here a few times now, the course is very nice and some of the greens are challenging and all in excellent condition. The staff at the pro shop couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Good value for money too! I would recommend this course to anyone in the area.

A pretty course in positioned in the Waveney valley, and surrounded by the Waveney River on the Suffolk/Norfolk border.

Easy walking with sand based ground conditions

so good for drainage.

Greens in excellent condition.

Despite the recent wet weather , this course was in Suberin condition. Fast greens and fairways that still allowed the Bal, to run. Real hidden gem. We'll be back

A good time of the year to play the course, fairways and greens in good conditions.
